The very end of the game.

On hardcore it took about 20 minutes, and I finally nailed it by being careful and approaching things with a thought out strategy. On Insane it took me in excess of 3 hours yesterday morning to do the final chapter of the game. I'll also concede that 90% of the job was done courtesy of Lady Luck.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has just walked the final section of the game. I don't have anyone on my friends list that's completed the game on insane, so I can't compare. One person on my list is on the final chapter and spent 2 hours last night trying and failing.

One person on my friends list is currently doing the same, well he confidently said "tonight I'm gonna finish the last chapter on Insane", the fact that he was confident suggests he's not tried it yet ;)

I've got another night without GoW though :( There's only one shop near where I work and it's sold out, so I'm sending my g/f to pick it up for me tomorrow from the city centre. Yay for women.

I've always played FPS type games on the PC before, and getting used to playing them on the 360 with the joypad has taken a bit of doing. When it took me 3 hours to finish the final chapter, I put it down to that. The fact that it's taken my mate 2 hours so far, and considering he's done COD2 on veteran and Halo 2 on Legendary, makes me feel a little less like a twat ;)

@Gotmian O+, but as hurricanepilot said i'm still not used to a joypad for aiming after years and years using a mouse to aim it takes some adjusting, hopefully i can get as accurate as i am with a mouse (75% accuracy with Quake railgun) but thats going to take time.
