I hate to say it, but you say he is making a bad name for you, but in the news/2049 you seem to be the one talking worse than him. Oh, and I'm Canadian, but live in America; does that make me fat as well?

i agree that impersonation is not good, but i really dont care in this case, if you want to be rude you are just asking for it.

We should have a voting system where if you get enough votes from registered members, you're gone.

There's def. someone who is using fake names and that guy has been warned in the past so I guess his posting rights are going bye-bye.

The frontpage comments for me is nothing much serious if someone talks shit! In the forums im welljasona and comments im J1980. The forums is for REAL people with REAL comments, more times than not once Ive made a comment on the front page I dont bother going back to see replies as I just check out the news posts,

Nice pic Jason ;) Does that mean that the Burger King picture pack (http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2006/11/27/pictures-burger-king.aspx) (which Major said was US only) is out over here too?

Nope, only Americans suffer from the fat American disease.

But people who immigrate to America actually pride themselves on being americans, so they have to be fat.

But people who immigrate to America actually pride themselves on being americans, so they have to be fat.

A common misconception.

Where they do strive to be as fat as their truly American counterparts they do not actually possess the Americaobeseafattusassus gene which was carried to the land of the free in the first waves of emmigration from Europe.

The gene which lies dormant until being woken up by a renewed literal belief in ridiculous ideas like religion and at the same time consuming fatty american foods in gigantic proportions allows the carrier to ballon to sizes to large to be able to provide any good to society except starring on shows like Jerry Springer allowing the rest of the worlds population to laugh at their situation.

So as the newer immigrants to American society are not gifted with carrying the Americaobeseafattusassus gene they must work hard through normal means to increase their girth to American proportions. Or if they manage to integrate themselves into society (not much chance in the southern states though, so I have heard) and find a native American (not to be confused with those crazy axe wielding red indians) they can have second generations that will benefit from their other proper "American" parent passing on the Americaobeseafattusassus gene so at least their children and children's children can benefit from the huge girth that real Americans have had for years.

I love how Americans are perceived as close minded and globally unintelligent. :P

I'm sure I could come up with a reason for that as well.

I tend to find major nelsons comments are better since he added the registration for your gamertag, I find myself completely ignoring the non-gold ones.

So Silver members' opiniones matter less than the opinions of Gold members? What a weird statement.

No what he's saying is that those people that bothered to register for Nelson's site have more constructive comments to add than "huhuhuhu MS si teh sux0r" on average, which is true ;)

In the end we'll also be switching to registration required or at the very least email activation probably, but as long as its manageable on our end I want to keep the required effort as low as possible.

taking the arcade heads up topic on major nelsons blog, only 2 comments out of 171 are from registered silver account members, so its not that they dont matter, far from it, its just that silver account members are not bothered to register/post like gold members are. But most of the unregistered user posts are usually just trolling, so I ignore them.

I'll continue my trend of putting forward bold ideas, here's one for you. How about we disable the comments on the front page and just have a link stating 'Discuss this article in our forums?'. In order for it to be successful we'd need each article on the front page to automatically create a corresponding forum thread when submitted.

I'll be quiet now. :P

But then a quick bit of flame fun from the office is just to time consuming to be bothered with = less fun for me.
