View Full Version : Xbox 360 Started Crashing Alot

The last couple of days my xbox 360 has started crashing alot. Either i get lots of weird lines all over the screen or just a black screen. Dont get any error messages or anything,Tried taken everything out and putting it back in but still no change. Any know the problem? Thanks

Yeah. Hardware failure. Lines all over the screen suggests that you'll have three red lghts any day now. Sorry about the bad news.

Oh well ill just keep using until i get the lights and phone microsoft up :( Only had it for 3 months and its on top of a table with plenty of room so dont dunno why its gone already.

My mate had the exact same problem. Lines and blockyness all over the screen. When he rang up MS, they said it sounded like a Graphics card failure or something. Sounds like you have the same thing.

Well mine is usually little white blocks running down the screen but the last 7 crashes (in a hour) have all given me black screens. Tried moving the power supply etc but guess mine has cancer lol

Yep, same symptoms as my 2nd or 3rd dying box. Call them now, gives you a chance to continue playing while they ship you the label ;)

If he lives in America there's no label shipping. You pay for shipping, at least that's what they told me in November.

As far as I know in the EU they pay your shipping (ie they mail you a UPS return label).

Yeah just got off the phone with them and they said ill get a label emailed to me in the next 24 hours and someone will be round to pick up my console. So yeah mines free :)
