Can someone please explain what 'steam' is that i keep hearing about and what its got to do with my 360? And no, i'm not reffering to the evaporating water kind.

It has nothing to do with the Xbox 360, it's a platform created by Valve to distribute games.

Yes steam is annoying and they way they handle updates is beyond dumb. Here lets update CS mid day...Yeah that will work.

On another note i was told you can defrag your 360's harddrive. I dont know if it works or not but i did try it. It involves holding down the A button when you start your 360 with the controller. The Xbox icon will come up and it will sit there for a bit and your 360 will make alot of noise and it can take a few minutes. But when it was done everything ran smoother. So i dont know if this is true or not.

Yes, I think it's the same thing as was announced here (http://www.xboxic.com/news/521) when Oblivion first came out.

Steam is pretty fast nowadays, at least this way I don't have to wait in line for 2 hours at Crap-planet.
