So, as you might have expected, this thread is calling out worm man, who has been spamming articles for the past few weeks, usually putting down the article, and then exclaiming "WE WANT WORMS, WE WANT WORMS!!!!!!!!"

Anyone else tired of this guy, or at least not even merely excited about worms as this guy seems to be. Hey worm man, they have Worms for PSP, if you go buy one, you can play worms WHEREVER YOU GO.

I'm curious, how many articles has he spammed this on? Xboxic editors, do you know?
Why let him bother you so much? Just ignore it - it can't be that much of an impact on your day to see a line of text saying "We want Worms!" now and again - it's less repeated than some ads on the site!

Personally, I agree with his sentiment, but only because it'd finally be a decent multiplayer game that isn't a bloody FPS (hate the online FPS gaming, it's full of wankers)...

I personally like worm man's comments, they always make me laugh especially when others reply seemingly infuriated by his remarks to no end, but i wouldn't find them so funny if they weren't so topical.

This has got be be one his best comments though (talking about transformers);

You DO remember how the current (fake) GT came to be, do you ? And you also remember that the only reason it actually has a gold membership atm is the Crackdown demo :( You also DO know that I hardly ever play anything online at all so you're not bursting anything here because all my live GT's are only used to access the marketplace in various regions/countries and not really to play games (notice the unusual high gamerscore on "Flutterscrotch" ? ^^).

But if you insist and if it makes you more comfortable (*grin*), I'll pop it in for you with my live GT signed in before I play next time :) Or you might just hop over to the demo thread and read my comments there and start thinking :D

just working on max'ing my character on crackdown, shame you dont get a final boost when you max out the climbing/jumping ability. i wiped out all the bosses, the last two are actually pretty good, I loved having to scale the building internally, conserving ammo ready for the rockets-of-pain I rain down on the bosses arses. Do wish the game was longer.

We usually leave the comments be as much as possible, they're highly self-correcting. When the Worms joke was getting out of hand (being repeated at EVERY article, thus making it harder to post ontopic comments or have ontopic discussions) I contacted the real Worm Man and asked him to shut it, which he indeed did (sorry about the wrong accusation again ;) ). I then trashed some random Worm Man impersonator comments over the next few days, and found at one day the same Worm Man impersonation comments under a whole bunch of posts. Moving to mass-edit mode, I saw his last 20+ comments over the past weeks had been Worm Man impersonations, hence my assumption that he was the real one, and fired the IP into the firewall. Which is highly effective, as El Jadius (http://forum.xboxic.com/member.php?u=711) found out ;)

If they charge for new weapons they will split the online community, as all players will need the same version to play against each other. So for this reason i think any weapon additions will be free, as for voice packs that will make no difference to the online play and so will most likely be charged for. Just my thoughts and i for one will pay for anything on this game as it's just so good.

I can't remember where I read it, but I did read that it was made pretty clear that there would be no downloadable weapons. Simply put, it would mean the balance of play wouldn't be level, with some people having a mjor advantage over others.

This game is good but playing over live is so annoying, as soon as I'm about to win and the other players last worm is on like 10 points of energy they almost always quit out of the game. I cant stand people who do this. Even if I was getting my ass handed to me I'd stay till the end.

I've played several games online, not had one connection problem yet. Although i have had people leaving when they start to lose. Thats to be expected though as to many people on Xbox Live think it's their God given right to win every game.

This has always been the case with Worms, at least they have been consistent on that, it's easy to out think the computer just not to out shoot it. It's definitely a game best played against human opponents.

Agree with whoever said they keep blowing themselves up with the A button when trying to jump, btw. Frustrating at times!

But, gods, this game is good.

Only negative point - TWO French language choices for your worms, but no Scottish? Hmph!

Also, the computer, at level 15 of challenges, is becoming immensely annoying with the 'never-miss' crap *mutters*

I have been loving Worms over the weekend. I haven't had any problems that some people have mentioned like connection issues or people leaving. Everytime I've played online everybody has stuck through the whole match.

I do hate having the shoot button as A though. I wish you could switch them around.
