Are you afraid to look silly when playing games.

I just got Dance Dance Revolution Universe for the Xbox 360. I was having a blast dancing away. When the wife got home, I invited her to come and play. She tried two songs, but refused to play anymore. She indicated she felt silly and did not like the game. To put things in perspective, she is a tiny, perfectly synchronized person with natural rythm, while I am an 6' 250lbs bull in a china shop, but she is the one who felt silly, while I was having a blast.

My question is this, how many of you did not do something (be it play a game, or partake in any type of event), for fear of feeling silly?

I play on my Wii, so no, I'm not affraid to look silly :D

I never feel silly when playing games; I encourage people to join me, that way no-one is looking at you anymore ;)

Does DDR ship with a dance mat?

No - I don't feel silly when playing games. In general I don't really care what others think about me regardless of how stupid I look. But Games are games and are meant to be fun.

I think after telling my puppy Jack on the bus back in the days when I first got nintedogs nothing makes me feel silly. I mean as long as I am not interrupting people around me I pretty much never feel silly at all . :P

Now with the wii it gets even better when my neigbourhoods go past and see me swinging or jumping in tennis or doing the hoola in warioware. :D


PS How cool is it that there is one of these dance dance games on the 360 over there , if its not too expensive I might get it when it comes out here in Europe.
