So is anyone really all that impressed with Worms? I played the trial and I was impressed for a trial version but then I brought the whole thing nothing new... except for maps and challenges and multiplayer.
I don't know, this game is kinda a-lame, except for multiplayer, so I hope the content download that Team 17 unleashes would do some good. :(

Hate to say this but I'm feeling like I played this game yesterday. I mean it doesn't feel fresh and fun to me at all and I was so pumped up for this game :(. Is this because I haven't tried multiplayer (is it any different from singleplayer?) yet or is it a consequence of the dozens of hours I've spent playing this game to death in the past?

I like it. It's Worms, nothing more nothing less. You got what you bargained for, and that is not a tactical first person shooter or anything.
My only gripe is that the AI thinks too damn slow. It's a fucking triple core SMT 3.2Ghz CPU folks, it can't honestly take 10 seconds to take a decision when the AI was faster on my 7.14Mhz Amiga 500 some 15 years ago.

Yeah the AI is slow, and are there really only three different themes of landscape (snow, volcano, London)? And the levels are quite slow to draw.
But that's about it - I'm LOVING it so far.

I thinks its a really good game for 800 points. Like Curry said, Its worms, nothing more. I knew what to expect. I love multiplayer, it just pisses me off when your about to win a match and the other person quits at the last second.

Coulda done with a few more cool weapons, like Baseball bat, Holy Hand Grenade and super sheep. Coulda made the levels bigger and I certainly do not approve of the limited voices/scenery.

Yeah I hate the limitations such as the scenery and such. I mean I can come to grips with 4 worms per team (as opposed to 8), multiplayer makes up for that, but the fun is limited for me.
