Umbra sword best sword (shrine of clauvius vile I believe)


I thought Morrowind was MUCH better. Here you cant find special items in tombs but have to get them from the shrines. In morrowind you could find them in tombs and caves. Also the travel system sux it takes away alot of travel time and the game doesnt feel massive by that (because you travel from one to the other side in a glimp, yes ingame time is lost). Also Armor... The higher your level the better the armor of the enemeys. (spelling isnt that good) In MW you had to search the whole game for a complete set of deadric, here a simpel highwayman who tries to rob you has it on. So lame.

MW rules, Oblivion is a great game spend 110 hours in it but in MW I spend Weeks.

I like Oblivion better than Morrowind in that there is more diversity in landscape. But I do agree that Morrowind does feel more immense than Oblivion, but they both pale in comparision with Daggerfall.

As for the max level you can get....well it does no make a difference. The game will adapt to your skill level. If you are level 1, you will fight level 1 enemies, and if you are 50, you will fight level 50 enemies.

The last time I played the game (april last year), my Imperial was level 35 or so and the amount of time I put into the game was around 60 hrs, very little compared to my brother's 110hrs which is impressive for someone like him who doesn't play games that much. It sucks that we'll have to wait for another 4-5 years to get our hands on The Elder Scrolls V :(.

All the way down I can only imagine all the NPCs already dropping when you get them in sight 8)7 I had it like 0.5cm down from normal because I got bored at the long healing sessions at normal.

I never realized you could move that slider. But it moving it down actualy required? The game will adapt to your level and most enemies are way to easy unless they swarm you.

I'm a vampire for the added boosts you get. Slurpping blood gets a bit annoying, but its still worth it.

To be honest, I have 130+ hours in Obliv, but I still haven't completed the game (890/1000). I don't want to close the Oblivion gate and shut out the rest of them. I have to admit, I love to collect the Sigil Stones (I have about 20 something when I last played) and I don't want to shut out the planes of Obliv. I just go invisible and run through the entire plain of Obliv in less than 10 min each time.

when the devs were talking about how there is over 300+ hours of gameplay, I wanted to test their theory. I've always wanted a game that I could play for years and years withour doing the same thing twice. Since I dno't play Obliv very much, I think I'll get a chance to make it to at least 3+ years before finishing the main quest.8)

yes because i said that you need permission "champ" all im saying is the whole point of a game is to have fun, challenges being set and the player overcoming said challenges, you being invisible walking around just picking up sigil stones doesnt seem very challenging nor fun to me. "oh look, deadra, you cant see me..im just going to walk past you and grab this...ahh look...im back. sigil stone for me...one more closed gate" WOW. but hey you find things like that fun.. thats down to you.

Thank you for deciding that my stealth based character should not be so stealthy. The challenge is to remain unseen, while getting my goal accomplished. This is the ROLE I've decided on for my character. Strange indeed, considering its a ROLE PLAYING GAME. If my character was a brawler, I would run at them with my sword drawn. If he was a mage I would use magic to win the fight. Is the picture starting to clear up for you?
Its not a new idea for most, but its okay if you struggle to figure it out. If you don't like it, well, I couldn't care less.
So next time, before telling me how I play my game is not fun for you, please insert my balls in your mouth and proceed to suck on them you insignificant little man.
Quite frankly, I find it laughable that someone who plays Uno is saying any part of Oblivion's gameplay is boring.

I realize that I let things get a bit out of hand, but really, do I (or anyone else on here) need a stranger to question how I play my games? I don't think so. He feels its boring, but doesn't take the time to actually read what was written. I collect Sigil Stones. Many people collect many different things in this game. Its one of the reasons its a great title.
At lv 49, after closing almost two dozen Obliv gates, should I go ahead and kill every baddie I see? Fuck No! It would take ages to get through each one. Thanks, but no thanks. I'd rather be stealthy about it, get the job done and go home. Is that the only thing I do in the world of Obliv? no. I do plenty of side quests to mix it up a bit. Some people just have their minds made up and wait to shit on someone else's parade at the first opportunity.

I won't be baited into any more silly "my penis is bigger than your penis" type arguments.

This game is great, no matter how you play it. And don't let others dictate what is and isn't fun to you. Just build a character and go nuts for hours/days/weeks in Cyrodil.

My situation is just like yours. I put a lot of time into it, but I don't feel like playing it anymore. But my brother has easily put in over 150+ on it, and he only plays Madden, NCAA, and Oblivion(plus computer games) but most of the time he's out playing football.

Oh and i think youre gonna need a lot more than that to cure vampirism, when you have them you need to find something really hard to find... What that is i cant remember, but i really think thats the case

So you only get games cause they are new? funny...i tend to get games cause they are good. i didnt want to start a new topic so maybe you guys could help... my game keeps freezing during the main quest when i reach the daedra (??) shrine and the guard says i have to remove all my possesions to enter this certain room. when i chose to remove everything it locks up. is there a way around this or do i have to start a new character..maybe this new patch will help to i havnt tried it yet. but other than that i really enjoy this game even though this is really the first rpg ive ever played.

This game is HUGE and relies heavily on cache memory. When was the last time you cleared your cache? Mine did the same (random freezing) but after a cache clear it seems to work okay. From the dashboard, when you select "Play Game" at the bottom, just press and HOLD the 'A' button (green one) until the Bethesda logo shows up. It'll take a minute or two longer to load your save game, but it should help with the freezing (hopefully).

If not, you're probably S.O.L. 8)7

This game is so huge that I seemed to have stopped for a nice break since 2 or 3 months ago. :P

I really like it though and I am always exploring everywhere I go, even if sometime I have to leg it and run away, like a headless chicken from stronger enemies! It is rather appealing to be able to create my own unique fighter to play with and those Oblivion gate levels are incredible too.

hi people a bit of advice really my mate downloaded the Shivering Isles pack a week a go,but he had to use my internet so he puts his hard drive in my 360 and downloads the content ,shivering isles works fine on my 360 but as soon as he puts his hard drive in his own 360 it doesnt load shivering isles

Incase you didnt know, its the same for XBLA titles, so if and when your 360 busts, and you get a refurb, any XBLA games you have purchased will have to be played while logged into your gamertag. Thats the main reason people bitch about getting a refurb, myself, im not fussed, at least my refurb works...could take me about 15 minutes to get a disk to loud on my 2nd 360.

This is a great game! One of the best things about it is the fact that it's huge and keeps you playing for ever! :) I have had it since it was released and there are still quests in the game I havn't started.

I've done most of the main questlines including the Shiviering Iles, but never finished the mages guild as I got expelled and need some Daedra hearts to get back in, and since I have no idea where to find these now that I have closed all the gates, I think I'll make a new character and do this questline again.
