nah! you seem ok, but keep in mind that most people on here are 5 - 10years + older than you are so we've done all the 'mine is better than yours' style statements years ago...I had bit of a lapse with Viva Pinata (long story) that thread you started might have pulled off better if you followed what you said with factual reasons on why the ps3 is a waste of money, maybe it's how you worded it- there was nothing for anyone to reply with other than ....oh ok thats just what you think?

I can only open my disc tray if theres a disc inside it. If my console has nothing in it - I have to keep pressing and pressing the button, over and over til eventually it opens. So I just keep a game inside it now - saves the stress

At least games still work! i can only play arcade games! with the exception of Fight night...sometimes... I really need to call microsoft...but my warrentys gone, REALLY not feeling giving more money to microsoft at the moment..

Ok, buy a new one in a shop. Swap the consoles, repackage it all up, take it back to the shop, say it dont work and get your money back from the shop - dont accept replacements, dont call microsoft...

I was planning on doing with with games i wanted to trade in, get nice copies of them first from blockbuster, EG rent GRAW, swap disks give them my not so great disk. but doing it with the console in general...good idea...they wouldnt have serial numbers on computer to check they got the same one back would they...?

When I took my broken one into currys which I ordered online they didn't even look when I took it instore for a replacement - you could buy a console from online and take the box back into your nearest store with receipt.
