I am ready and waiting after playing through both Ds castlevania games and the SNEs version on my wii for the first time. I might not download this today but this is one game I will want to try for the 1st time too and I bet it it really long too. :)

Silly non-skipable cut-scenes though, that really pissed me off.

Well it ain't bad, much much much better than TMNT from last week. Looks like there is plenty of depth to it. Would i buy it? nah but still i can see plenty of people enjoying this, especially fans of old skool platforming with RPG/Adventure thrown in.
PS. as Trigger Man pointed out the non-skippable cut scenes really do piss you off, cheesier than the er... the cheesest thing you can think of.

Fuck me I paid 800MP because I was interested to see what was beyond the trial, and only found Suckage there.

That is interesting because I realy liked it and it helped me understand a bit more on how Alucard got into Dawn of Sorrow when I played it on the DS!
It was worth my 800 points anytime because it is like playing a full game for £8 and I paid a lot more for Castlevanai Portrait of Ruin recently.

2 words after playing it for 9 hours: IT OWNS! (with FPS Doug's voice)
Silly non-skipable cut-scenes though, that really pissed me off.
indeed, especially if you die a few times after a certain place...
damn when I didn't understand the game the dracula cutscene got me rather annoyed, I know it all by heart now "Mankind ill needs a saviour such as you!", whatever the hell that's supposed to mean...
In the PS1 version you could skip the cutscenes I think, I saw that in a 50 minute speedrun of the game (youtube)

Yeah, You can only skip cut-scenes after you seen it once.
