Hey guys,

I really suck at this game, i can't seem to get more than 150000 points. Does any of you have a good strategy? I get stuck at the point where those black hole things (that suck up everything) explode and spam a million units on the screen. Using smartbombs only works for a couple of times. :(

Kill the novas directly when you see them. If you don't have time to kill them quickly, don't hit them because they don't start absorbing until they've had a bullit. Keep practicing until you can survive 100k, that's basic training. When you get to the 200~250k mark, start flying circles, it's the only way to survive. In tight spots, always fly in the exact same direction as you are shooting so you clear your path. Learn to time the smarts to the last second before you would really really die.

My highscore still only 496k, but I haven't been practicing recently :)

Omg, that sucks only 4k away from an award :D

tnx for the advice btw, and i didn't know you could kill the novas? I thought they exploded after they were filled up with enemies.

They just need more shots depending on how much they've absorbed. When they get filled up they start to shock more heavily until they explode. By shooting at them you can compensate that so you have more time before they explode. Keep shooting at short distance and they will implode and give you the total score of whatever they sucked up.

I usually have a ciggy during the first 10k because my gf forces me to smoke in the kitchen and I can do those 10k with one hand at 30 feet distance effortlessly :P

It's not too hard, but it does take a lot of practice to get good at. Just keep at it you'll get better!

I unlocked the 1 'survive 1 minute without shooting' achievement :) Not that hard! :) I think I made it almost up to 1:15 or so :P I think I'm gonna be working on some high scores soon ;)

That one is almost as easy as the 'Timely Marble: Finish any level under par time' achievement in Marble Blast Ultra :P

Played some GW, scored over 200k and survived 100k multiple times. Too bad I wasnt signed in cuase my wifi doesnt work in Linux yet. Im on the leaderboards with 138k and will try to achieve 250k while signed in tonight ;)

My high score is 1.300.000 it just take's a lot of practice.
This game is verry adictive so much i hate it but i must play it.

O and here is my tip don't get to aggresive or panic it will get you nowhere

Damned game cost me a joypad already!!!!

I'm at 915k but don't play frequently enough anymore to really improve. The idea is indeed simple though: don't get frustrated. Don't panic. Don't talk. Don't think. Just get in a trance and do it.

My high score is 1.16 million. I've broke 1 million twice. The first time I got 1.14, then I only bettered my score slightly to what I have now. I don't have the survive 1 million, getting 9 bombs or the 10x multiplier.

I pretty much gave up on trying to get better at this game. I can score over 500k pretty much anytime I play. Getting much above that is difficult for me. I really have to be in a zone.

Yeah I'm a tiny bit below that. Getting 500k nearly every game, but 750k is a bitch, and I've never done 1 mill yet. It's still good to play when you've got some anger management to do ;)
