I don't like wrestling games either. I'd pick any other fighting game over Smackdown any day. Can you even call that fighting? To me it looks more like horrible acting ...

WWE it self is pathetic, the games are good though.

I need more people in the same match though, more online buddies.

Yeah i got bored of Wrestling games a good few years back, they got far too repetative., and smackdown all might aswell be one game with just updated graphics every year

Hay! i shouldn't have to open a thread on a game in a gaming forum and be flamed needlessly. If you haven't got anything positive to contribute then don't bother. Just basic manners

Its a forum, for everyone to express their opinion, why do you even care if some people dont like it? it doesnt effect you if some people say some things about a game you didnt make...Unless your part of THQ? its still made by THQ right?

I'd like to see:

* Camera integration in CAW mode - being able to put your own (or your mate's :D:D:D) face on your created wrestlers would be astounding, especially for cracking online games.

* Fix the idiocy with CAWs in the last one where if you used a specific piece of pattern, it immediately made your CAW unuseable online - which absolutely sucked. It cut down your choice immensely.

* Allow us to use songs stored on the 360's HD for entrance music for CAWs, and perhaps even downloaded Videos for entrance vids :D

Away from the CAW side of things:

* Balance the game up a little more. The Great Khali was virtually unbeatable, so everyone goes him online.

* Allow your controlled character to actually get off the ground as fast as the computer does - it took sometimes up to two or three minutes to make a character stand up after being knocked down (once a certain point in the match had been reached, damage wise) - and, ok, fair enough if it were from a chair shot or something, but from a PUNCH?

* Make finishers harder to obtain (so you can't save up two by just punching repeatedly for ages) and also stop pins being available from simple moves. People have been able to get pins from a punch or a clothesline, which just simply doesn't happen in the 'sport' it's trying to mimic.

Thanks for the contribution :) Great ideas Number 13. Good point about the finishers and being pinned easily. Losing a long match to a clothesline really aggravates me

i agree with the caw mode u should be able to put your own songs on there, and face recognition would be excellent like Rainbow six

Better achievements. Achievements like "Win 50 times in a row online" suck. Achievements like "Win 50 times online" are ok though.

Fix that damn bug on the Titan-Tron. I hate playing a match and seeing the WWE logo there instead of what's happening in the ring. I actually contacted THQ last year about this but got nothing of interest back.

DLC. Weapons, arenas, wrestlers, commentary speech packs, season mode storylines.

Online. KotR style tournaments, Elimination Chamber playable online.

Balancing speed versus strength. You need some way that Rey Mysterio can use his speed to defeat someone like Khali.

Smackdown vs Raw vs ECW. ECW style matches, referees, commentators, superstars and so on.

They're just some of the things I want in SvR08.

i think it would be cool to see the wwe logo on the bodom left corner on the screen like in tv. Also, it would be nice if instead of just being able to go into the audience(like svr 2007) u should be able to walk around the stadium ,or , atleast like no mercey for 64, be able to walk around outside the arena...
