Does anyone know when there will be downloadable content and what its going to be....and everyone is real big on making petitions that dont work...but there should still be a petition to get the man the myth the legend STEVE PERRY and/or Journey to do a guitar hero song.

Well there shouldnt, you even said it yourself, online petitions dont work, and they really dont. it would be a complete waste of time and finger energy:)

It looks almost certain that all of the songs from the original Guitar Hero will be available on the marketplace sometime soon - the devs have said they want to do it, I guess they have the licences for all of it, and I've seen a few high-profile threads on other forums where it looks like secret undercover operatives could be trying to work out how many MSP's they can get away with charging ;)

I've heard of this game, but never seen it - is it something that teaches you how to play a guitar or one of those games a bit like the ones that needed a dance mat, except with a guitar...??

The latter. A lot of the concepts are the same (e.g. you can use different button combinations to play "chords", and you can bend strings to change pitch etc) but basically it's "hit buttons in time with music".

It's easy to learn, difficult to master - for instance, check out how insane this track is (it gets worse as it goes on!)

I wonder if there's real guitar players spending so much time on this...then going back to their own guitar with their brain accidentally looking for the coloured buttons...

I keep trying to play PS3 Lemmings with my Xbox pad...and Im used to the 'X' button being where it is on the 360 pad...on the PS3 pad the 'X' button is where the 360's 'A' button is...so im all over the place when I go from one console to another..

I had that problem too when I converted from PS2 to Xbox 360 lol. At least the circle and B buttons are red ;).
