i wasnt looking forward to this game after i saw alpha build footage looked like any other button masher but this stuff looks insanely good damn it yet another game to my ever increasing list

To their advantage they've let everyone know its a trilogy so they can clean it up so by the third one it should be pretty much its own franchise and silicon knights tend to make some pretty kick arse games (although under-rated at times Eternal Darkness for instance was excellent)

Actually, it's nothing like DMC. In the preview, they say that all the attacks will be controlled by the right analog stick (as you can see on the screen posted by Fanappy). In DMC, you have to chain up combos by pressing the face buttons, so I think you'll have more control over your attacks in DMC 4 than Too Human. Plus, Too Human's gonna have a skill tree system (supposedly "too complex") and a levelling up system (1-50) which almost make it an action RPG. I like the idea of being able to transfer your character from TH 1 to TH 2 and having different classes (I think I'm gonna pick the Champion :)).

What??!! "Could"? Man, I thought this game was gonna be a definite 2007 release. First fall 2006, then April 2007, then summer 2007, and now basically TBA. I know the game is gonna benefit greatly from all these delays but I'd be much more content if I knew whether or not the game would be coming out this year.

the devs for this game are located in St. Catherines, ONT.
Lets hope the local Canadian talent puts out a good game. I remember reading in a Toronto newspaper a while ago (like, 2 years ago.....) how much $$$$ MS Game Studio were throwing at these guys and how it was going to change the video game industry. You know, the usual hype when M$ Games is involved. Lets just hope they don't disappoint.

Judging by the screens here they seem to be on the right track.

Well the producers are saying there is enough action to keep action fans happy and they can breeze past most of the rpg'ish elements! Personally i love them but hey each to there own...

Well i hope it's pretty much it's own franchise by the first release, as by the third one, on their timescale, i will be about 50yrs old.
Having just watched the IGN thingy i am very underwhelmed it looks a little generic gameplay wise. Only time will tell i guess, and they seem to be using as much time as is needed. So fingers crossed they can produce a great game, at the moment i am not convinced, also the screenshots mean nothing to me as i have come to expect that from Now-Gen stuff anyways.

Oh well, guess i am feeling cynical today.

of course it will be its own franchise by the first game but I meant that in regards to it (too human) being classed as a DMC but ppl will be saying "oh yeah that plays like too human" so it will be kind of a bar for this type of game i missed out of DMC cos I was a Cube and Xbox1 owner and owned a ps2 for 24 and MGS3 then traded it in (i just cannot use PS controlers)

I knew what you were getting at, i just felt like playing Devil's advocate this morning, now i am awake i will say that i REALLY hope this game is good, as from what i have read and seen it looks like it has potential. Personally i thought the DMC games were just good, nothing spectacular, they became very repetitive very quickly for me.

I just want God of War 2 and i will be happy roll on the 27th.

LOL was a fluke.. yeah i hope it plays like God of War to be honest, shame it wont be in 480p in europe :P yeah i hope its good it has lots of features which is nice to carry ur character over to the next game will be awesome and also have 4 player co-op will be a big plus point

I used to, but they just seem to take too much of my time nowadays. I guess it was easier to put in 80+ hours when you don't have to worry about school/work/gf's/life........

wait a minute.....I'm about to crack 200+ hours on Obliv.....erm.....um....cancel what I said......:P

I know that I'll probably be picking this one up as the devs are *sorta* local to me. 4 player co-op certainly makes my decision easier as well.:9~

It will be in 576p on my PS3 so i couldn't care a toss about the missing 'Nearly HD' mode, although i feel for the Pal users who could of used it, typical we Europeans always get shafted HARD with things like this.
