Well spotted max....you're becoming normal...\o/

I have 24 Xbox360 games, 31 Arcade games...1 xbox original game, I buy games that I think I'd like rather than just for the sake of buying em all...

If I owned that many games I'd feel gamerscore shy....why don't you post your gamertag. Is it anywhere near close 126400 then....

impressive indeed. but if you have all the games on 360 then that means you bought over G fighter( it was such a bad experience that my brain forced me to block all thoughts of it, so im too sure on the exact name... it comes back to me in nightmare-ish flashbacks) and pac man*pukes*

I can confirm that because I have him on my friends list. Whenever a new game comes out and I wanna know how the icon looks like, I always check his tag :P.

charmed699
April 18th, 2007, 01:08
It is a Furby which I have to admit has quite a few years but still works, each of them said its own name and it has a lot of detenction signals such as touch, light and even movement when anyone plays with it. :)

It also had can say some phrases based on how you are using it like if its dark it tells you that it is scared of the dark. :P

According to my gamercard, I've played 116 games and I think I own around 30 arcade games.
The thing is , I only have the 5 or so 360 games that I'm playing right now in my rack.
That's because when I'm done with a game, It goes back to the game shop for trade on new ones. (Usually)

This practice cut's the cost of my addiction in half. (Approx.)8)

I used to collect games back in the day but after they sit on the rack for a few years, It just felt like wasted space. I mean, If I wasn't gonna play them again, They were worth zero.

Do people collect so many games like the OP because they think they will someday go up in value? Or is just that you can't let go?

Curry

That rack is seriously nuts.

Thryon

...Or is just that you can't let go?

I guess you are correct there. I still have King Kong, althou I have not played it since December of 2005. I do not want to trade it in, as I may want to play it again some day. I do not like playing the same game for very long, so I often go back to old games over and over again. For example, I have been craving Kameo once again. If I had traded my copy, I would maybe have gotten maybe $5, but when I wanted to play it again, it would cost me $7 to rent the game. It is worth it to me to just keep my original.

When I first purchased my launch console, I sold my original Xbox and 58 games, and used that money to purchase my first Xbox 360 games.

My collection of games do not cost all that much. I do not buy games at full price, unless it is one I really want. I can get most games on launch day for $10-15 off at my local FutureShop (electronic retailer in Canada). If it is not on special, I usualy wait a few weeks, and it will come on special. You can also get good deals on used games. Blockbusters had a promotion, buy one used game (at about $20 off the new price), and get a second used game for half the stiker price (this is half off the used price, that is already about $20 off the new price). I have seen games only weeks old on their used shelf.

Jasonic
April 18th, 2007, 20:20
Yeah, I use coupons and take advantage of all the specials that my game shop offers. Alot of times it's a REALLY good deal. You know, The trade 2 360 games in and get a new one for free.
Also when games are still popular, I can get $30 for a game that cost me $60.

I guess I just reached to point where I simply won't play most games twice.
Now good multi player games is different.
Like Lost Planet. I've been playing that one heavily online since the day it came out and with the new maps coming out every now and then, I have zero intention of trading that game in. But games like that are rare for me.
I review games for another site and I guess that kinda changes things a bit too.
Anyway, Thats an impressive collection you have there and more power to ya!_o_

Indeed Nofear I do enjoy playing DS games a lot which to be honest was what got me into gaming a bit more again. I had the original ds and then sold it for a black ds lite which is why I got about 30 games too.:)

But I am an all rounder anyway if you see the rest of my games you see why I say that as I have about 10 of my favorite xbox games, 11 plus saturn games and about 34 dreamcast games or more in another place.

But I do and try to sell games that I know I will not play ever again.
