that's what i was thinking, i only had like 30 hours or so into it, the guy i borrowed it from had like 75 and still played it nearly every day
I remember that I was 100 hours into it and there were still things to do. You can play that game for ages. And that's just the core package.

I got to about 120 hours before i stopped playing, thats without the shivering isles and knights of the nine, though i did get a couple of the mini packs, but yeah i would say go for it.
