The last PC I bought was a Windows 98 second edition book PC with 4gb harddrive that looked a bit like an xbox360
http://www3.telus.net/crystalcomp/NETPC.jpg
that lasted me from September 2000 - 2003, then I bought a Toshiba Laptop with XP from 2003 - 2007 which completely give out... and then I have my new Vista laptop which I only use for Sage Accounts, Iris Payroll, emailing and the internet...so its more than adequate for that...

Yeah i am firm believer in only having a PC that meets your needs, hence my PC is designed towards playing games, namely FPS's were every frame per sec is important. I could of spent double what i spent but that REALLY would of been a waste as nothing slows down my current spec.

Except Quad Core, some have been overheating because all its just 2 Core 2 Duo's put together with the smallest gap possible inbetween so you cant even get a fan there to cool them.

Heheh, I'm pretty much a console gamer through and through, I seldom play games on PC, but I like games like N.
Still waiting for release info on N+!

I guess I've mainly been a gamer, unfortunately until the master system and NES came along mid 80's you had to go for a PC to get good graphics... The Atari 2600 just wasn't up to the job.... Although is was a cartridge instead of a cassette tape?!
