I myself as a left handed person who struggled for years with a mouse before discovering the pen... think this is a good idea...

but I hate things that get full of finger prints so I wont buy it just on that.

Im one of those 'extreme' lefties that the brain makes your left feel like it should be right and your right should be left... a good example is taking shoes off. I start with my left foot and place the shoe on the right side, then take right shoe off and put it on the left side (of the floor)...so the feet look like they point in opposite directions. AND if you was doing something and someone shouted go left, go left...I'd go right....left handed people's brains function on the opposite side but with some people its more extreme...

Also do backward ticks only...and need notepads to be upside down so the spine is on the right.

You can't do that, they are too cute. We have one cat who lives in the house (used to have 2 but one died in April), and a few wild ones that live in our garden. We feed them of course, but it's getting harder because they are breeding.

As for the Surface, damn, that looks awesome. A bit big, but awesome! But like Curry said, cats (and in my case a dog, too) would scratch it to pieces. Oh, and I don't have 10k to blow on it either :(

The MS Surface is a very cool idea, but making it a PRACTICAL product will be tough. The only real application I can see this being put to would be in a restaurant, as Bill says in his little speech. Have the table display the meal and drink purchases in real time in front of the people at the table. They could then use the touch screen to enter in their Visa/MasterCard #'s, electornic signature witha stylus, and they're out the door in no time.
But does this really make sense?????? Eating on a $10K table? Slamming drinks down on a $10K table? Greasy food + touch screen = :?

Looks nice, but I don't know what practical uses there would be for this.


ASIDE: Maybe one day, we'll sit down with our grandchildren and say "Back in my day, tables were made of wood." WOW Gramps, you're really old!!!:o
