There is no official info whatsoever on a sequel to Gears of War, except that Epic representatives haven't ruled out that there could be one ;)

With the massive sales of Gears of War, it would be a foolish mistake not to make a sequel - but I guess it needs to be done with care and caution. Gears fans will be expecting something bigger and better...

I on the other hand - wouldn't buy it...

Well, I've got the beta code to it at the minute. It's quite good, especially for a beta, and the graphics are amazing. Lancer still has a chainsaw, but a gun called the Piercer has a drill on it.

Let's see if he falls for it, and I hope he can't highlight.

I'd LOL so hard if Gears of War 2 would be multiplatform. Epic owns the IP, they're legally able to.

Microsoft will print some more money and give it to Epic to prevent that from happening probably but it'd be so fucking funny.

How is MGS4/Tekken/Final Fantasy/GTA/OtherBigPSexclusive going multiplatform awesome and the other way around dumb and sad? ;)

I realize MS publishes Gears and that it would mean a major backstab from Epic, especially after that whole 512MB thing, but still; the reactions on the internets alone would be so funny that it would be worth it. :P

Gears of War multiplatform would be a disaster for MS and I'm not a fanboy at all but I'd hate to see MS fuck up the one good thing they have going for them atm (which is a great catalog of unique exclusive titles imo).

Exactly. Gears of War, Mass Effect, Too Human, and Bioshock (considering it won't go multiplatform like Oblivion) are just a handful of exclusive titles that MS has to offer Sony's lineup.

I left it out because Bungie has more ties with MS than Bioware, Silicon Knights, and Irrational Games. It wouldn't be fair to Sony's first-party games ;).

I'm surprised I still knew about that viral, I didn't pay much attention to it back then but apparently I remembered the name. I had to look it up on Wikipedia to make sure it was really Halo related though :P

A LONG time, but didnt they build unreal 3 from the ground up and such? they have loads already from Gears 1, character modles, landscapes and such, they just need to edit a lot of it aswel as make more. so it really wont take as long.
