Gears update anyone?

Alrighty,

Just checking to see if anyone has downloaded the new gears title update, I had a marathon session last night with a few of my mates and I find the biggest problem is 'host lag' and the useless underpowered rifle, just wondering if they have done anything to fix this? :?

the asault rifle has been powered up but I dont think any host lag issues will be ammended.

If only we had 25mb just like the americans.;(

even if we had 25 MB, there would still be host advantage if the host was American.

the lancer has more power, and the pistol was also given a bit more power too. i also noticed the torque bow will rocochete if its not fully pulled back. in 2 games i also noticed that another player on the team that wasnt host could down opponents extremely easy.....almost as if some off host players were givin more damage to make up for being off host.

I hate the new Lancer, it's overpowered now IMO. It will definitely take a lot of getting used to, that's for sure.

virgin media do 20mb over cable...
