I'm not excited and coming from me that means a lot, I'm a HUGE Tony Hawk fan through better and through worse. But the whole class-choice seems like very annoying change. It seems to be restricting you in your abilities more than anything. The rest of the 'innovations' seem either dull and minor or pointless and gimmicky. And between that and SKATE coming up I think I'll pass on this one. That would be the first time I skipped on a THPS sequel ever.

Don't get me wrong, Nail the Trick was cool. But the series as a whole has been devolving since THUG, with pointless tricks (Natas spin anyone?) the destruction bullcrap, and the presence of a story. THUG got away with that since it was relatively fresh.

THUG marked the beginning of the series declining quality, it started focussing on stupid gimmicks (climbing, driving, all the other off-board stuff) and moving away from the actual skating parts.

SKATE... need I say more? no i dont but I will anyway. Tony Hawks(from thug2 onwards) became extremely(pun not intended) boring, its been the same stuff over and over again.

they should just re-release the good ones like THPS 1 and 3 and 4 id buy those in a second over any of the new stuff theyve proceeded to degrade the THPS name with, THPS 3 pwns all the others that have followed too bad i dont have it for xbox :'(:'(

Yeah you can, just get all of the goals in all of the levels. I did that + I hit all the gaps in the Dreamcast version. THP8 is way harder to beat.

No, you shal not. I think SKATE will give us more of what we are looking for in a skateboarding game. Because, I really think that THPS needs to go into another direction. Personally I find that it is the same old *hit, just different places.
