i have an animated .gif picture in my avatar. why is it not animated? i know curry's is animated but i'm not sure what kind of pic it is.

Well your picture is a JPEG right now, so that explains why it's not moving 8)7

Well I have no idea, registered users are allowed to upload animated avatars in the settings and always have been, so I have no idea why yours would be automatically converted to JPEG and thus not move. Can you upload the GIF again to try? And if that fails, please post a link to the image here so I can have a look when I have time.

Well I fixed it by disabling the "resize to fit user's max size" option, but erm could you consider using an icon that doesn't give visitors an epileptic seizure please? ;)

It's too large though, 80x80 is max so it'll have to resize anyway, thus screwing up the animation :)

I've been looking like mad to disable the resizing but can't find the bloody option, so anigifs are still messy for the time being 8)7
