You can download a lot of pay per view movies on the internet like lovefilm.com and sky.com, but only if you have the movie channels...
Are they worth it? NO
Downloading is pretty pointless, all that crap and waiting for a 1.5hr film really isnt worth the hassle.
Yeah close thread...we have movies already

Or use streaming websites, such as TVlinks.co.uk and so on. wait about 5 mintues, start playing, movie done, only problem is some are pretty low quality, thats it, case closed, thread closed:)

In all honesty, I used to d/l ripped movies, but haven't for quite some time.
Like, I'm talking YEARS.
Thankfully, I don't have to do that anymore because it's a million times easier and more convinient to drive to the Asian mall north of the city and pick up whatever films I want for $5 each. Anything older than a month is perfect quality. The new releases, while sometimes great, are usually filmed from someone's lap, and periodically, you'll see someone get up to go to the bathroom. Kind of annoying, kind of funny....
Just for an example, I got 300 about 2 1/2 months ago, and it looks great. Not HD-great, just regular DVD great. Oh, and two seasons of "Greys Anatomy" for $15 total.
But I'm not doing anything illegal.
The store owners are, and they get fined/busted every couple of months. But someone else just takes their place, and the cycle continues.

I'd only recommend it for rare and hard to find stuff. When downloading(and more importantly uploading)big, recent, studio films you run the risk of the Studio or its agents reporting you to your I.S.P for sharing their I.P and you're I.S.P COULD suspend you're account indefinitely for breach of their terms of use.

I only use torrents for TV shows and I always try and download them within the first 24 hours that they are posted up. About a year ago I got a complaint to my ISP, but it was for a download of some episodes that had been out for a while.
One of my Friends always downloads the DVD images a week or two before they are released and he suprisingly hasn't got caught yet.
