Suggestions to avoid boredom?

Does anyone have any good suggestions for me to avoid periods of serious boredom while at work?
I'm starting to post comments abusing the rich and famous (Gate$ and Bran$on) which is stooping to an all new low even for me?!
Bearing in mind that I sit at a desk in a crowded office and have to look like I'm doing some form of work so masturbation and gaming are out of the question. :(

This is what I do.

I use this time to create comics in MSPAINT (doing a new one right now, but it will not be ready today).

I also use my downtime at work to writeup my gaming club eZine (in Wordperfect which saves to PDF). This months issue will focus on the fall gaming preview, and which games I think will rock your world (in each category).

And of course I also post on Xboxic....and save the world in my spare time.

well the internet can always solve this problem! being a nerd and fellow frequently bored gamer, i would reccomend the site www.tricklife.com it is really awesome, ive attempted so much of the stuff on there while bored, it passes the time quite well too. :z (theres only a few sections that maybe considered NSFW)

Sounds like a good idea..... However as the office is open plan I think I might get seen hanging from the celing and breking my bosses neck. I can also go for lunch whenever I want so I guess I have it kinda easy?

Problem is the firewall in my office, it will filter almost anything fun... I was amazed I got into Xboxic there!!

Im in the same situation.

Open plan office with people walking past me every 30seconds so im always clicking on the window thats supposed to be up to hide my boredom antics.

i was also supprised i got xboxic.
everything else is blocked. even photobucket so i cant see everyones comics.;(
a bonus though is that youtube is unblocked? It never used to be? CLASSIC!!!
an episode of family guy every lunch.

I find the best thing to do with boredom is have little ambition and also to not really think about anything hard enough to cause awareness of a problem(Drugs or Meditation can help). Aim low and you'll never be disappointed(or bored).

Genius!! _o_ You just need to remember to keep the stink levels high and groan when other toilet users are present(Oh and make sure the volume on you're headphones is low enough to be muffled by groans, splashes and farts:D )

Brilliant idea, however there are seperate toilets in my office (block of 6 individual units with toilet, sink, mirror and razor socket - 1 block at each end of every floor) very swanky I know, however after getting busted for falling asleep in the loo in the past I know that the "Oh, I had the shits" excuse doesnt wash.... To create the level of stink required to seep under the door and make it a believable excuse would make gaming an eye watering experience!!

Indeed he did, with about 2/3 days to spare if memory serves me (which is usually doesnt).

I did finish my goal, reaching the coveted 50k (50004 to be precise) on July 30th. I have about 45 hours spare. Once I have completed this new Java course, I shall go for 60k (something by Christmas).
