anyone else planning on going to PAX07? should be pretty sweet. apparently the first level of the halo 3 campaign will be playable. dont know what else but i'm really hoping the new super smash bros. will be playable in some form, or at least hopefully shown off. should be a big showing from microsoft mainly, but also i'm hoping there will be a lot from nintendo. i'm expecting microsoft's showing to be strong because as many people know they are heavily based in the seattle area, in addition bungie studios is right on the main MS headquarters campus in richmond, WA. but a lot of people probably don't know that nintendo is the majority owners of the seattle mariners major league baseball team. and they do a lot to promote their image in the area because of that fact, so hopefully that means we can expect some awesome stuff from them, although its more likely that they will be showing off their biggest and best stuff at the tokyo games show, which is just about a month from now.

anyways im driving up from portland, OR with a friend. im leaving tommorow so we can be at the convention center bright and early friday to get in. we are sleeping in the back of our big hippy style van on some mattresses haha. just thought id see if anyone else was going? perhaps someone from xboxic? if not, i suppose i could do a bit of "deputy" reporting if someone from xboxic wants me to (contact me if so.)

but uh ya... maybe you dont even know what im talking about. anyone even heard of PAX ever before? im sure some of you have.

Anyone who reads PA will know about PAX. Sure wish I could go, but it's not as simple as a drive down. :\

Halo 3 is playable here in Leipzig. And I'll say it now: it looks boring as hell in the hour or so I watched people play.

For the reason I dont even have a passport to go to the States I will not be attending. But please feel free to tell us what happened if your able to, thanks. :P

If Halo 3 is more or less the same as Halo 2 then there will be levels where I will just wander around confused in the dark for hours running away from those mutant flood dudes.

is it single player or the consoles hooked up like a system link thing cause i relly wanna see some footage of multiplayer with the new weapons and stuff not just pictures but the single player i think ill try not to see any of that and judge for myself

But even if I was a fan of Halo, what I saw was still boring; sure there were only one or two levels, but they were bland and just, well boring IMO.

But whatever, let's not turn this into a "Halo is shit/Halo is good" thread. I won't say another word :X
