Last night I pulled up the site on my PSP (shhhh don’t tell anyone) and I have this RSS channel (?) icon on it. So I clicked Xboxic's RSS feed and it asked me if I wanted to save it so I did, then when I click on the icon on the PSP it just says it empty. I also tried it with MajorNelsons site and the same thing happed could one of you many computer Gurus’ shed a little light on the subject.

Well our RSS feed (http://xboxic.com/feed) is working fine, so no idea what could be wrong. Isn't it just "monitoring" the feed and not showing anything until we make a new post?

Haven't a clue, I’m not even sure why it’s even on the PSP. I thought it just meant I could look at the site with out all the picks. Meditate on this I must...

Well essentially RSS means you can scan our headlines with it before going to the full site. We get several hundred thousands hits on our RSS feeds every month, so rest assured it's a popular feature :) I'm just guess the PSP implementation doesn't update until there is a new post.

RSS Channel in the PSP does not display news feeds. Sony have 'cleverly' tried to rename 'podcasts' as 'rss channels'.

Click on a podcast subscription link within the PSP browser, and it saves the link to the PSP. Go back to the RSS channel option on the PSP, browse to a specific podcast and choose a file to play. Rather than download the file in whole though, the player streams the audio over wifi. It currently only works with audio podcasts, but it will play the sound minus the video from video podcasts, so long as the sound in the video files is AAC encoded (i.e. most iPod formatted videos)
