Xbox Live update 20 Sep 07

hey all, I just got interrupted in a game of Bioshock, my Xbox disconnected from Live, and upon reconnecting, there was an update available...

So naturally I go, OMGOMGOMGOMG here's the fall update, or at least Halo 3 Clan Support (the Clan tab) -but after restarting, nothing?

Anybody had this, or seen any news on this already? :? :?

Its nothing major as you can see.
All it has done is add support for the new Scene-it Controller.
So that they can test how it reacts to retail 360's.
Nothing to get excited about.
I found this out from majornelson so it is true.

I got it whilst loading Halo 3, I thought the servers were being activated or I was being banned.

yeah it was the Scene It controller update. Lol fun to see everybody freaking out in fear of being banned!

Oh well. I finished Bioshock yesterday, first run, still missing some achievements.

I want to try playing that scene game when it comes out but the package already comes with four controllers correct? It should be a blast with friends/family at Christmas if it gets released by then. :D

I fully finished Bioshock last month and I got to tell you that the news of a new one every 2 years is fantastic. In case you need any help finding something then feel free to ask mate.

Today the team is releasing a minor system update via Xbox Live. Over the next few hours, when you sign in to Xbox LIVE, you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. What’s in this update? Much like the update last month, the only thing this minor release will do is prepare your Xbox 360 for the Big Button Pad that is being released this holiday. Why do we need to release this update now? Simple: The certification team needs time to test the new controller against the retail hardware/software combination before it hits stores.

One more thing: no new features beyond this big button pad support are included in this update and, once again, this is not the ‘fall dashboard
