I got the idea from Ross, he said (when he posted his Mario shoes) that he thought there was a shoe thread but couldnt find it, so then I thought, may aswell make a clothes thread. I like to see how different people dress etc. and what they like to dress in. I don't know why, it's just a nice thing to talk about.

I dress differently from others, I like to wear t-shirts and skinnyish jeans but then I also wear designer jackets or nike trainers etc. etc. I don't dress like a emo, or a indie dick or w/e. I take ideas from places and in a way string them together.

So, just wondering what you all like to dress in...

My favourite casual scruffy wear is BENCH in everything - jeans, t-shirts, jackets...

My favourite designers are Yohji Yamamoto, Tommy Hilfiger, Rocha, Belstaff, Evisu, Bench...

My lazy slob stuff when I slumb it is usually lounge style shorts & t-shirts - that are ...wait for it..... £3 each from alexandra ! lol I get them when I order staff work wear...it's like PE Teacher stuff...

plaid shorts, polos, i have one 59fifty hat, american eagle, a little bit of skater stuff (i used to be way into it...), and i love zip up hoodies. in the winter, my favorite thing to do is dress like an arctic commando and drive around in the snow with tow ropes and jumper cables in the back of the truck.

Yeah I like BENCH Loads...because it's so comfortable and I like the big logo on the back of the jeans.

No..lol, I should have been more clear. What happened with my eyebrow is that the skin healed kinda oddly but the more it healed the more it brought the ring forward and eventually it just fell off my face...I have a scar now across my eyebrow, but even the scar looks good cos no hair grows over it...

Various t-shirts with humorous or dorky phrases/references printed on them, jeans or courier shorts, hoodies, Rockport walking shoes (fucking comfortable and they look great) for everyday stuff, or Chuck Taylors when I'm going out at night. I'm not big on brand labels, but I'm big on showing pride for my favorite bands and whatnot. Of course, there's also my industrial piercing (no fucking diamonds, thank you), and I always wear one of two trusty baseball caps - my light brown Adidas corduroy hat, or my blue Boston Red Sox "Irish" hat.

Why I'm telling you people this, I don't know.

I'm not sure what you're implying by the shoes thing, seeing as that word always seems to have negative connotations when I hear it used by British pals, but they're black leather walking shoes, and they're fucking comfortable. So if you refuse to wear shoes just because of a label, it's your loss. I honestly had to stop for a second the first time I put mine on, because they felt so good.

And yeah, that's what it is, although they're typically called "barbells" over here. It wasn't what I wanted at first, but it's grown a lot on me (along with some pesky keloid tissue). I believe there's a shot of it in the photos thread.

Nice one. =) I'm not sure if it's still there on their site, but you could bag a 20% off voucher just for signing up to their newsletter. I haven't done it, by my friend got the discount off his whole shopping, not just one item as I think the explanation of it seems to suggest.

Edit: Gah, just found the confirmation e-mail. Offer ended in September. Booo.

Edit 2: I lie.

http://shop.hm.com/uk/?action=newmarketsnewslettersubmitcontroller&ct=1

Voucher must be relative to when you sign up, I just did it again with a different e-mail address - and it's 25%, not 20%. The sign-up page makes it clear that it's for one item, but who knows? Might get lucky. =)

I actually like how they look. I've always liked the "paint on jeans" look, but because I'm inherently lazy, I couldn't be bothered to do the whole throw-paint-on-jeans thing, so someone doing it for me is a nice alternative. Plus $285 isn't a lot here in the UK.

JasonA
July 3rd, 2008, 18:46
With me it's both reasons. I do actually like how they look and I would pay extra because with the 'home-made' look I would just feel cheap unless I paid for them.

Why did u do that????

Going back to clothes I bought a really nice winter coat £70!!!

I snapped at one of the managers on Wednesday and when I went into work again on Friday - clearly nobody was talking to me. I went to the manager I snapped at and apologised and she said, you have upset all the team and you need to do a lot of grovelling to them. They are all shocked at my behaviour. (keep in mind all I did was just a brief snap...nothing that bad)

I went through to the office and clearly nobody was speaking to me.
Now I was fucking livid because I know that they aren't really shocked cos I snapped as they all rip that manager to bits, there isn't nothing they haven't called her. So I know on a personal note that they used the situation to fuel up their daily need for office bitching. I will not sit in an atmosphere and I made the other managers aware of exactly what does go on so I know they are talking crap. I can't sit there knowing that what was an isolated incident has been taking out of control with others getting on board. It was between just the manager and me. I said I will not sit there and allow myself to fuel up other peoples needs to bitch and backstab. Get on with it, without me...

I will now place myself back in the family company for a few months, prob until end of Jan and look for full time work elsewhere where grown adults don't act like fucking kids.

Its not weird, if I remember either he is not originally from this country or his parents aren't... Im thinking Portugal for some reason I am sure of it...also if you're of small build to have size 8 feet would look a bit clown like.

Some people I know who are from Spain & even Germany have like size 5 & 6 UK Size feet...

In Italy it can be even smaller...hence the european 34, 35, 36 + sizes instead of our very fat british 5, 6, 7, 8 and that.

Have a go and see what awful combos you can come up with! Sadly I've already submitted mine for an enquiry (wanna know how much), but it'd be fun to see what you guys come up with!
