On the front page, I've been having slow updating on the Recent Forum Posts. Sometimes it will update correctly, then when the page refreshes !BAM! Gone back to being out of date. Is it just me or is this a problem for the site?

You can consider this wild guessing at the moment, will discuss this with Curry at the office. If you can supply any more info, please share it.
This might have something to do with caching of the site. We are relying heavily on caching to be able to properly serve all users of the websites. If something goes wrong with the caching on a specific page, moment or area, this could couse the problems.
So please, inform us if you can supply any additional info, such as frequency of this problem, and pages/sections where this might happen.

It happens all the while, infact it's doing it right now. The only page it seems to effect is Xboxic front page, in the Recent Forum Posts section.

To be honest I can't imagine this happening. What happens behind the screens is that the whole tracker bar (so all 7 trackers!) are being fetched simultaneously, and cached simultaneously. Effectively this means it's impossible that only one out of all trackers can be out of date unless the database is lying, which it isn't if the forum itself is working fine.
I also can't reproduce it myself to be honest.
What I'm curious about is how much out of date the trackers appear to be. Because yes, it can be out of date, since the cached trackers are generated once per minute. That technicallly means it can be out of date 60 seconds at worst :P

You are aware that the times shown in that tracker are 24-hour clocks, so that forum posts showing up for 17:02 while it's 15:55 in your place just means you're in a different time zone and your computer's clock is 7 minutes behind? :+
Sorry, had to ask :P If you ever see the suspect behaviour again, please take a screenshot (alt-PrtScr) and make sure to include some articles in the main column and the surrounding trackers. I'm really curious what's happening here, although I'm pretty sure it's not on our side.
As for Max: check the browsers' cache settings on your computer, someone screwed with them to make the computer 'faster' I expect.

Guys, please.. Try to keep this thread on topic. Some people have a problem with certain aspects of the site, and we want to solve that. However, threads tend to get ignored if it's filled with off-topic discussion on where you live and such. That's what the Profile Fields are for :)
Thanks.
