Do you guys get free PS3 games like you do 360 games? I'm guessing no?

I didn't even know Folklore existed prior to launching the internet on my PS3 late saturday night. You're supposed to be my news site, my info site!

Why is there still no Warhawk review up?
Will there be a Folklore?

etc.

The main problem is that not many of the crew have a PS3, compared to almost everyone having a 360. Thus it makes it harder to get as many reviews out as we would like.

There won't be a Warhawk review, there's not going to be a Folklore review. I can't tell you when there will be another review, so I apologise about that. Develop your English skills and ask Curry for a job if you wanna help!

The only time I had free games was when I was a kid and I wrote off saying I was doing school projects on Technology and Gaming. I had clocked up about 6 MegaDrive Games. The best one was Sonic & Knuckles with the lock-on thing. Also remember that 2 of them were Japanese games and I had to saw off the edges to get them to fit into console - New Zealand Story Jap was great fun, totally different levels and game than the UK version.

Once I get my PS3 i'd be happy to do reviews, I have good english skills (getting a A or A*) but this will be at christmas.

i'd be able to review a game or two it'd just be figuring out the rating scheme of xboxic in order to accurately represent the sites opinion on it that'd be the hard part.

i may not show it ... ever... but my degree from college was in writing / english ;).

I have to say, that does come as a huge surprise. Same for you Bleach.

But yeah, speak with Curry one time, although you'd be expected to do more than just reviews.

We get most 360 games we request actually. Our review output is limited by writing capacity rather than review units usually (and PGR4 review unit was late here in NL, arrived last Saturday :/ )

For 360 games we do, other folks like SCEE have proven less trustworthy at times :+

"The newly unveiled (and long denied) 40GB PlayStation 3"
Even with an article praising the PS3's success you take shots at it. Absurd.

"Buggy Tools of Destruction arrives a week early with DualShock3?"
A game with 1 bug, which doesn't affect gameplay and has a workaround, is not "Buggy". Buggy would imply 4 or more extremely widespread defects, imo.

I swear I've never read 1 article on Playstatic that doesn't take shots at the stuff it reviews.

I guarantee you that any game that releases with a bug like that, regardless of the console, will be labeled buggy. It just happened to release on the PS3.

We make remarks about the Xbox 360's failure rate all the time on Xboxic, I don't see why this is any different.

I think it's a pretty serious bug when you can't play the game... So yea, it DOES affect gameplay.

You can play the game. From that article I gathered that it's some defect like this...

If you have 40.3 gb free, and for whatever reason the game fails to think you have space free, it's because of that .3. If you add or delete ~500 mb of data, then you have 40.8 or 39.8 free, and the game can read that correctly.

It is far from 'unplayable'.

What's absurd about entirely correctly noting that the new SKU has been denied for a long time?

It had it's place as a comment when the 40gb was finally unveiled.
It has no place in a article praising the sales of the console.

but augustus, reverse the situation.

What if Halo 3 required the majority of users to go through the hassle (more to some than others) of a workaround JUST TO GET TO THE MAIN MENU?

You would've been bithcing and crying about it for MONTHS! Christ nows you've already been doing that WITHOUT this hassle. But a childrens' game, Ratchet and Clank, gets cut so much slack. Why? You'd have been crying foul if this were a game called Halo, but in this case, everything is okay?

:?

whatever......

So we're only ever allowed to refer to anything once? I'm sure we've made more than one passing remark about Duke Nukem Whenever's release date, or Xbox 360 failure rates, or EA being cash wolves, or whatever.

Sorry, I really do not see the problem in using historic stuff and factual references to decorate articles. And hell in this case it's frigging relevant too, especially in an article on the sales of the thing. How much closer to sales can you get than referring to the recent addition of an extra SKU?
