If so... take pictures, and post them. Whoever has the best will win... uh... who knows. E-fame.

The best, and I mean THE BEST thing about Hallowe'en is that its the one day a year when hot girls can dress (relative term, 8)7) like a total hoochie momma and get away with it.
I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it!!!!!!
bring on the sexy nurses, angles, devils, playboy bunnies, school girls, sexy police chicks, dirty cowgirls and all other types of skanktacular costumes.

Yanks love the Halloween 'holiday.'
They have a good time, dress up as anything they want.
The UK however is different, we can only dress up as horror people, and rape, incest, robery, murder, drive-bys and ASBOS all raise by 9999%.

Anyway, Halloween is pretty over-rated in my opinion, just another excuse for the roughians to demand stuff and scare people. I've tricked-or-treated once before: it was cold, boring and only ruined my teeth at the end of it. Now I stay at the window and mouth "Barrr, humbug" to anyone who even comes close to the house.

dude, if you're trying to be funny/clever/smart/insulting you'll have to try quite a bit harder. I'm not sure if you're trying to say I'm french or in the Navy, but it didn't make very much sense, and once again, shows the world that you type well in advance of actually thinking about your statements.

We are a bilingual country. Its the law in Quebec, that all signs and all gov't buildings/events/publications be in both official languages. Its a good system when it works. Its a terrible system when it becomes an "US vs. THEM" situation, strickly based on language alone (ongoing issue in Holland, Dutch site users, help me out with this one!). Its a big issue in Canada. I, personally, love the billingualism. I really wish I could speak/understand french better, not for any other reason than its a part of my countries history and my family's history. But this dual language issue isn't confined to gov't offices. Many business realize that to expand their reach (see: sales!!!!), they'll need to deal in english, as well as french. I'm sure that there are more than a few offices thoughout the USA that have some form of spanish voice mail greetings as a mandatory thing. Does that mean we should all put on ponchos, drink tequilla and say "I'm American"? I don't think so......
as for you being/not being a hick.
While Ohio is, technically, a 'Red State', even southern Ohio is North Eastern USA. Unless you're really close to the border with Kentucky, it'd be hard to assume you're a hick. I wouldn't say you're a redneck, just a jackass, and jackasses can be from anywhere. Better?
for the record, no one was 'crying their eyes out'. I was merely pointing out that you're getting French people confused with French-Canadian people. That all my man, thats all......

Some like Halo, some like CoD, some like DMC, some like Final Fantasy, some like Virtual Fighter. Basically, if it was made, someone, somewhere thinks its great and worth their time. Personally, I can't imagine someone feeling Halo is boring (especially Multi player), but then again, I can't imagine someone would feel the way Jay does about CoD3 (its terrible IMO).

Ok, since this whole English/French thing does hit close to home, I will voice my opinion. I am in the middle of it all. While Canada is official bilingual, New Brunswick is the only official bilingual province in Canada. That means that I have to do all my government test and documentation in both official languages at all times. This really, really blows. I work in IT, and do you know how difficult French IT terms are. We spent hours debating what a scanner was called in French. Also the wife has trouble getting work, as she is not bilingual (English only). The system does wok, but it is not required. It it a huge waste of money.
As far as Halo 3 goes, the game is aswesome. My club gets together every Tuesday and battle it out. Last Tuesday, we where 14 members and had a blast. To those that did not enjoy the game, it may just be the company that was poor.

I don't know what it was with the Beta, but I really really enjoyed it... I was really really looking forward to Halo's release too - and after awhile it was alright. But I could easily play anything over it, I was resorting to World Series of Poker too and I aint played that in ages...
Im not getting rid of my Halo3 and still pop it in at least 2 times a week - I just need to be in the right mood...

lol, no, not quite.
Thats a friend of mine. He was supposed to be 'white trash' for Hallowe'en. Hence the Green Hornet cap and KISS t-shirt. (although not too many people who are considered white trash wear Energie belts.....he's a good guy, but not the brightest!)
I was actually out with my gf and her family that night, celebrating their new home purchase. The deal closes this Wed, and its in a very nice (see: posh) area of the city, so we took them out for dinner as a congrats.
priorities I guess.:P

I didn't even notice he was meant to be white trash - I see people dressed like that all the time.

Yeah, it wasn't as much of a Hallowe'en costume as it was a hallowe'en "costume".
i.e. Just an excuse to go out and party, really.

Well only a few people knocked my door trick or treating as over here it's more of a kids begging night. I didn't have nothing to give em, I gave everything I had on me to an old man who was going around selling poppies for 11/11...

Well to be fair Halloween is a tradition for Americans, and something the rest of the world thought it'd be fun to do too.
I personally hate it as there's no point to it at all, just the 31st October.
