Diogo will probably want my head for saying this but if you really wanted to play anything on the Wii, you could do a lot better than Mario and Sonic.

Well I can't chop your head off because you have an opinion mate. :)
I do have the game since thursday and having played it at SEGA offices about 2 weeks I actualy really like it.
It's a shame I had to send it back to GAME today because the box was damaged and the cd full of scratche for being loose.
I have not heard about that competition though but I wont enter as I already got the game, so wish good luck to anyone entering. :)
The highlight of the game has to be watching how Sonic manages to do the events with water involved.

I have recently aquired myself a Wii.... I bought myself one just before Christmas and almost instantly felt guilty that there would be a small child crying on Cristmas day because I bought the Wii he had begged santa to bring him for at least 6 months. I say "almost" becasue as soon as I fired it up and strapped on my Geeeetar ready to do battle with Guitar Hero III my guilt was wahsed away knowing that a snotty little brat probably didn't deserve such joy in his whining selfish little life...... I have since made the fine purchase of Mario and Sonic at the olympics and love the game as a multi player battle of manliness... It's not quite so good as a one player game but with a few friends round it's a real blast!!

I played this game at my fiancee's cousins house. We had a few people playing so it was definately fun because of the party aspect of it. The funniest thing is the 4 person per team swimming matches. The different motions you have to do for the different strokes are funny... not to mentino a nice little workout for your arms.

In some instances I saw the Wii was being sold for more than it released on launch, over Christmas period that is.

I got mine for £170 with 1 extra game from tesco (someone tried to buy it off me the same day for £250 as they are like gold dust up here in sheep shagging Scotland).... I had a choice of Golden cum-ass or Tomb Raider... Both are shite but Tomb Raider is slightly less shite... I immediately went and got Guitar Hero III which I've been playing almost ever night since I got it... It truly does rock!!! I'll be getting Mario Galaxy and Res4 when I have cleared the Christmas debts...
And to think I thought the Wii was just a big shitty gimick when it was launched?!

Is it true that it's only mono?
Don't think so? I'm pretty sure it's Stereo (Dolby Pro Logic II capable)
I could be wrong..... But untill someone tells me otherwise I'm saying it's stereo!! :D
