If billy o'L bill is leavon microsoft, then that means xbox and xbox live will be under same owner, but new MANAGEMENT. Could this mean that we are going to see better service and/or changes to xbox live, or better yet....r they actualy going to listen to our update opinions. I guess only time will tell. Wut do u think?:?

Nothing much will change, the same people will still be running all the other divisions as usual. The new guy will be interested in profit margins, ROCE, Overhead apportionment amongst other interesting figures. Then using figures he will determine with his team the best route forward to make those figures BIGGER !!! without jeopardising quality, customer care, keeping the same standard at reduced costs. He will show his face from time to time in press & promotions, he'll speak at corporate & entertainment events...

but aside from all that - it'll be like he's won the lottery... for the world has another greedy robbing dirty bastard to look at. !

Doubt that. He has Robbie Bach to take care of that and loads of other executive officers.

We are suckers for good spelling around here, aren't we?

It's more of a common courtesy for other users, it means more can involve themselves in the discussion as they understand what the OP wants or is asking/suggesting by being literal.

Then you get fuckwits that come along and post a load of bollocks that makes no sense, and everyone then derails the thread because of it. And voila, you have this very thread.

I think it should be written into the rules of the forum that text speak is unacceptable, I don't mind a little poor grammar or some dodgy spelling as you only need the first and last letters of the word in the right place to recognise it (It's ture you konw, it deosn't mttear werhe you put the ohrets it slitl rdeas ok) but text speak is definately a no no!!

Suggestion of banned terms

wud = would
u = you
ur = your or you're
cnt = cannot
c = see

I can't think of any more as I'm old and mobiles didn't exist when I was learning to spell..... :D

Maybe there could be an automatic word-changer for the above terms. Even if something doesn't make sense because of it, it might prompt the OP to fix their post.

We prefer to call them "bans".

There is a spell checker.... Maybe it should be set to run when the submit button is clicked!!
