View Full Version : Calling Oblivion Experts! - Where can i buy these?

Does anyone know where i can pick up more lockpicks? I know they are scattered in barrels etc but i seriously cant be arsed looking for them. Ive got 30k of cash to blow on beer, chicks and LOCKPICKS. Does anyone know where i can buy them in game?

Oh also i need to buy the damage magicka spell. Does anyone know where i can pick it up. Been to most mages guilds, but i have prob gone to them all but the one i need to.

Im not skilled enough to make up my own with ingredients.

Join the dark brotherhood, the dealer in the sanctuary usually has about 30 on him. Wait a while, and he'll be filled back up. The thieves guild sells them through different people as well. A lot of stores sell them too, just look around.

Once you join the Thieves Guild (go down to the Imperial City Waterfront and start paying/persuading beggars to tell you about the Grey Fox), you'll meet a couple of guys who are willing to sell you lockpicks. The first guy (who you have to meet at midnight) only offers this the first time you meet him, so stock up straight away - I made the mistake of not getting any and then he never offered again...

If you've levelled up to Level 10, there is a much better solution. There's a fairly simple shrine mission where the reward is an UNBREAKABLE Skeleton Key (so you just keep clicking "auto-pick" until it opens).

Or just keep ONE lock pick in your inventory, and then equip your BOW & ARROW. Next pull back the BOW & ARROW (just like your about to shoot someone) with the bow pulled back go to your inventory menu and unequip your ARROWS (there will be a message that tell you that that’s not possible- you want to see that massage) then go to any ITEM you would like to duplicate and just drop it. BAM!! You have a duplicated item.

How ever many ARROWS you have that’s how many Item you will have when duplicating. BUT you cant have more items in inventory than your arrows to duplicate. Note: Unique item may or may not duplicate

I thought that glitch didn't work on lockpicks. I learn something new every day.

I'm so trying to avoid being lured to the dark side by the item duplication cheat. I've got a ring that's worth about 8000 gold, a dozen of those might be useful...

good call..that makes the game about 40 times easier..the skeleton key is money
