CAN'T BUY MICROSOFT POINTS!!!guy freaking out here

alright, i d/l'd the 2 new free CoD2 maps, and want to d/l the 2 new premium maps.
problem- i only have 100pts.
solution- buy 500 more pts.
problem- can't seem to buy more points. all my Credit Card info is there and up to date, but when i click to purchase 500more points, i get an error saying- "cannot authorize the selected payment option. please choose another payment option or add a new one."
solution-UNKNOWN

any one know what to do?

I had this problem before, make sure your credit card company didn't send a new card in the mail because of your plastic expiring. If they did, it would screw with your payments.

I'd say you should call Xbox support, at least if you're sure the information is correct and up to date. If they can't help you immediatly, and you really HAVE to get the points NOW you can always buy them in your local game shop :)

This might be a little embarrasing, but not having enough money in your active bank account might be stopping you.
I know a few people who have tried to scam MS like that, and had a similar message.

it's alright triggerm4n. i found and fixed the problem. i forgot that that credit card had it's number changed becuase of "security reasons" from the card company. awesome, d/l the new mpas now!
