As we all know, Red Faction: Guerrilla is coming out soon and looks like its gonna be setting a new benchmark in destructibility in games. And if you didn't know this already, what the hell is wrong with you, check the FP, theres an article up! Some nice trailers on IGN too

A thing i know a lot of people wont like, the change from FPS to 3PS. I for one am welcoming this change. What about you?

How many times have we heard of amazing destructibility? Killzone oddly enough has some great destructibility in multiplayer from wall slabs and shit.

True, but have you seen the videos? They are pretty impressive.

I've played the beta for a few weeks. it was an online one with only a 2 game modes, but it was really fun. That said, i think this is just another game with the red faction brand. it's not the same thing I knew and loved. but I did enjoy this game, and evreything I've seen has looked very impressive.

and just on another note, I'm sure there was alot of unhappy people when Fallout 3 was announced. The first two were completly diffrent, but that dosn't mean the change was a bad thing. I say give red fraction 3 a chance, but as a new game...not a red faction game.

Don't really know too much about this game to be honest but just got a code for the demo so will see what it's all about.

Played the demo last night didn't get the 1st game but it is a lot of fun! Destructibility is fantastic! Plays well looking 4ward to playing the full game!

OK well after what felt like a lifetime wait in downloading it. I got to be honest, I fucking hate it, all of it...the back packs, the cloaking, the scenery, the way the character moves, all the onscreen stuff that appears...the game modes - the whole lot.

Not impressed and not buying it...shame...but I was really put off and you just know when something isn't worth paying for. I may try the single player demo later see what thats like.

Yeah also the marketplace box opens up the old demo, you need to press All Downloads and then scroll to the multiplayer demo at the bottom if that happens to you.

I can't think what this reminds me of, I remember a long time ago playing a demo with you _chris_ and Im sure I didn't like that either, but for the life of me can't think what it was?

Im gonna give this another go tonight...maybe I just w asn't awake enough before...maybe...

Well the singleplayer didn't do anything for me really but the MP demo was amazing. I played it for a couple hours with a friend of mine. Besides the switch from 1st to 3rd person, it feels/looks a lot like the first one(which is great because the second one felt cartoony)

There was too much going for me all at once in the MP - maybe it's just my age :( but I didn't take to it...and the single player agreed was also bad for me - not my thing, but would be a good game to get when it hits £19.99 mark or 2nd hand in a few months. My days of rushing out to buy new games are over since I was conned by GAME.co.uk

I loved the single player of the 1st, how you were a miner in the middle of this whole revolution. The 2nd one was awful tho, a bunch of superheros that go to mars....

On the other hand, the amount of options in the 2nd games multiplayer was awesome, and it was even fun playing with bots.

I'm hoping they take the best from both games.
