View Full Version : Dante makes his debut on the Xbox 360!

While Devil May Cry fans have been enjoying their Sony-exclusive action series for years now, it appears that the trend may soon be broken.
In a recent interview with Famitsu, Devil May Cry producer, Hiroshi Kobayashi revealed that despite earlier remarks about DMC4 being PS3 exclusive, he expects Dante to make his debut on the Xbox 360 and Revolution as well.
Besides the multiplatform release, DMC4 will also feature a brand new fighting system. Keyed at making the difficulty suitable for all players, Kobayashi has included a more accessible control setup, allowing players to fully integrate the fighting and acrobatic maneuvers more easily, while keeping the difficulty at a steady pace.
Kobayashi also stated that he still does not know the true power of the PS3, but he expects the game to feature the same feel and style as the trailer shown at last year's E3. For more on Devil May Cry 4, stay tuned to Amped IGO.

because of DMC superiority, Ninja gaiden will have to be better, so in the end we get even better Ninja gaiden :)

Well, it's funny. A friend of my is an xbox noob.
By this i don't mean that he is a noob for having xbox, and later sell it to buy 360, it's because he gives me these 'facts' like:
"devil may cry is coming to xbox360!!"
or
"ps3 can never do 1080P, microsoft said it!"
But he is not stupid, because he's a 3rd year medicine student.
But anyway, when he says something, it's almost a fact that it is a bullshit rumour posted on his xbox fansites. It's never true, his BS ;)
The funny thing is, when going through all the topics, you are beginning to feel like this friend more everyday.
So what i read here i can rest assured is made up fan-fiction.
Plus, it's ALLWAYS from another site. Very creative ;)
Why don't you try to make your own fan-fiction about or in favor of xbox360?

The PS3 however, will get a port of the GC MGS1 remake.

E2k, you know a lot, but I think that no one will openly take your arguments for what they are until you own an xbox 360 and experience some of what is talked about. You really can't make a final opinion about something until you try it for yourself. You seem to make your judgements and opinions only from a technical standpoint, which is good to a point but it isn't the realistic end result though, which is what matters the most. So buy an Xbox 360. :D

E2k, you know a lot No he claims a lot and forgets to cite his sources regularly as well, forgetting that they are nothing more but bold claims made by Sony management or Sony fansites he regularly visits. Base rethoric qualities require accusing your direct opponents of ignorance before they notice you're equally misinformed.
He does a good job of applying Godwin's Law to gamesites though, must give him that. He just uses Sony instead of the Fuhrer because it has nearly the same effect during an Xbox discussion.
Needless to say, such rethorics can be awfully fun to apply against similarly trained opponents. Using them on a public internet forum for gamers is just flamebait though. Which is not allowed here (http://wiki.xboxic.com/Xboxic:Rules).

So when I buy an xbox I start believing that Dante is coming to xbox360, and that resolutions like 1920*1080 progressive can not excist in the coming next generation of consoles?
It's not true, like i for example said about PGR3, it really looks great. I have not seen a racing game with a better sense of speed yet. Plus it's awesome when you look to the lef in your car, the motion blur that is aplied.
If I were like you described, then I would deny this.
On the other side, i do not need to play Oblivion for longer than 60 minutes to figure out i truly hate the character design, the design in general. And the animiations seem like they belong to a pc game. After having enjoyed games like MGS or Silent Hill.
I did play other games. Maybe that is the difference.
