I heard GRAW is coming out with some downloads soon. Does anyone know anything more about this and let's hope it will be more co-op maps...I love those.

The Xbox logo on that map hints that it's for the 'different' game though? Having said that, can't wait for some more coop action myself :9~

This is the first Ghost Recon game I've had, and after my liking of Rainbow Six, and how well Ubisoft and the Tom Clancy franchise was, I thought I'd give it a go. Brilliant game.
If this 15 single player levels and 13/15 co-op levels are infact true, how many Microsoft points will it cost? A lot...
A demo might not be good,
when not optimised enough, ie bad framerate or a lot of bugs, it can ruin your first impression of the game.
And they say you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
Still, i also want to play it tonight if possible _o_
When this "flash your drive to read backups" gets better documented/developed, i will also consider a xbox360. And i'd LOVE to play this game like i said :)

Uh isn't this in the wrong thread?
When this "flash your drive to read backups" gets better documented/developed, i will also consider a xbox360. And i'd LOVE to play this game like i said :)Do I need to explain again that the firmware hack will always be detectable and very probably not only get you kicked out of Xbox Live but also render your Xbox 360 unable of booting any games released after the "fixed" firmware release. It's brickware, save yourself the $399 and buy a cheap $2 paperweight if you really need one.
Well, i do not have an xbox360, but i ca still inform you that you can produce a backup of your firmware, a 1:1 backup, the same for each and every bit in the entire firmware, that you can allways put back on the drive, even if the firmware is to be 'bricked', aka you have a power failure while flashing firmware.
This i know of the 'pc world. And seeing the xbox uses standard pc components for its drive hardware, well, you could add 'noisy' to that :) , it's perfectly possible to flash it all the way you want.
I was expection you to say "you can only change the firmware limited times because of the flash chips that have limited write operations"
True, a little bit, but these chips, anno 2001 for that matter, can be overwritten 10 times a day for at least 5 years, so there you go ;)
Also i am thinking of the 'core' one+hdd, because in 2006 i don't like to put batteries in other things than remotes. So especially not in supposed 'cutting edge next gen technology' (sorry, i have use AA batteries since My First Sony Walkman :+ )
I do have to say that the swap method of backing up 360 games looks boring as it is now, but its faster to download on torrent anyway.
One last thing, to not be offendive, my PS2 also did HDD backups. But great games like SOTC, i still bought, so it's not piracy only for me. Only for the mediocre games ;)

And meanwhile the OS has detected your hacked firmware and set a bit internally that it should never boot a game again. Or even delete the entire kernel from the system. Unlikely as especially the second option is: are you willing to take that risk? Once they've detected your firmware, which can be first boot after the 'fix', they're in control and can brick the whole system, not just the firmware. For all we know the 'never boot a game again' bit is already present in the system just waiting to be triggered by a detected hack.

You're expecting the PS3 controller to operate wirelessly on thin air I assume since that is no doubt true 'cutting edge next gen technology'?
Ever heared of lithium-ion cells? Plug in a "usb-mini b" cable supplied, or one you got with every digital camera sold, and you can charge it. How it should be. Or do they supply batteries with the xbox?
Btw, it's just funny your doomsday xbox mod scenario.
But you probably said the same thing about the xbox in 2001 while trying to defend microsoft from possible hackers.
But I respect this loyalty. :)
edit offtopic from here: A friend of mine talked about after the whole scene is going to flash the xbox, releasing a flasher tool that would say 'firmware backuped, secret code stored, but would not, and then it would write a bricking firmware to the drive. Since you would not have the original code anymore, or the firmware for that matter, the entire xbox would be rendered useless :P
That is why i would need one even more, to supply the (fake) how to make your xbox360 accept dvd -rw and boot it video.
Damn, this is going to be so much fun :D
Plus I get credit by microsoft because i make the people scared of really bricking it . That'd make me even more loyal than you :D
Btw, he is the programer /linux pro / studying advanced IT mathematics or something :P. so he is capable of doing that ;)

Actually 2 AA's are supplied, or you can choose to buy a rechargable battery pack with USB charger, got mine for 12 euro.

I'm a professional programmer. I interviewed the hacker. Unlike you, I know what the hack can and can't do, since you only base your misinformed opinions on "guys in the scene", ie other retards who think downloading torrents is cool. Ever actually made love to (edit: we have females in here!) a girl?

You completely ignored my post in the other thread, and continue to use lowlife rethorics by implying fanboyism whenever you are too stupid to answer something because you completely lack any level of actual technical insight. Don't do that, it doesn't work on me and it pisses off the other users. Final warning.
