Plus noticed you're only 80kills from your next achievement in CoD3 Ranked matches. I've 11,000 til my next one, then 20,000 til the one after.

After Start Screen

Ranked Match
Leaderboards.

I will really get into both games. Halo3 will probably have more longevity despite looking a cross between a disney movie and a bikers convention.

I will prefer the realism of Modern Warfare with the environments, weapons, and gameplay though, then switch back to Halo for a rest.

This is so funny and odd - I have to post it.
I had a quick go on CoD3 Ranked matches to get a bit closer to that 40K score and whilst I was waiting in the lobby my laptop stopped accessing the internet. I kept looking at my 360, that was still working - so I just couldn't understand how my laptop was saying it couldn't access my BTVoyager Wireless Router.

I thought my built in wireless adapter on the laptop had broken so I tried an ethernet cable, but still I couldn't access the net. BUT my 360 was still signed in on Live. I then looked at my wireless router and it was showing a red light as to point out it wasn't connected - YET I was STILL signed in on Live !!!

I just wasn't getting it - then I unplugged the whole wireless box and all the wires...and I was STILL signed in on Live and able to play CoD3 rank matches!!! so I went to system settings, network connections and my IP address was visible and everything was OK despite no wires being plugged in and the wireless router unplugged. Going further into this matter I discovered by clicking the wireless options at the bottom that it said Belkin52G was connected (No Security Settings)

So it seems that for quite some time I have been playing on, downloading games, demo's and gamerpics using someone elses wireless internet and for some reason they have no security settings which enabled me to just plug my wireless adapter in, search and connect. It can only be one of my neighbours Im guessing? I have now corrected it and chose it to connect to BTVoyager and entered my WEP code.

So whatever a Belking52G is...don't buy one, seems they have no security settings???

Lol, I have a Belkin 54G near me, and for about 2 years it was unsecured and I used it frequently (not for the 360, but laptop access).

Then I go on holiday to Cornwall and low and behold, another Belkin unprotected! Some people just don't understand security on wireless routers, fools.

I'll manage it...just takes time and patience. It kinda reminds me of when I learnt how to use Macromedia Flash. It's a lot of importing and knowing where to place things, put the code and timing. It has to know what happens next before you've even begun the start if you get my drift.

My comic characters will be a good start. It'll be the most foul mouthed mini game ever created.
But first and foremost I want to play some other peoples.

I love XNA !!! Literally you just load up your xbox360, then launch XNA (after it's been downloaded from marketplace) then choose connect to computer (which its all wireless) download any XNA game on your pc, open it with XNA Game Studio Express (which is only VisualC# with more options) press run and debug and it transfers straight to your xbox360 HDD ready to play.

I've read a lot of the tutorials about drawing sprites, loading in textures, objects, Jpegs & Bitmap files...Im going to have a lot of fun with this despite it looking quite time consuming - but theres something called TorqueX which is meant to speed up rendering processes.

i don't think Call of Duty look s like GRAW apart from the fact theres guns, besides there set in diffrent timelines and CoD 4 u can't have 3rd person if anything it looks like r6:vegas but i think it'll be better than that, (although i still haven't got round to picking up the full game and r6:vegas is probley good, i just think Cod4 will be better)

I used a cheat in GRAW1 which made me complete the whole lot with achievements on single player hard mode. I think its:

Hold LT + RT + Back during pause screen

Then press, whilst still holding all the above:

Y Y X RB X LB = Invincible

X X Y RB Y LB = Invincible Team Mates

Then it's all just a breeze.

I did try. When they held the Euro Cup championships there a few years ago, I was trying to organize a trip for myself and some friends but it fell through. I remember being so pissed that I couldn't get the time off work. I actually ended up leaving that job just a few months after the fact.

I kind of wish that I would've left right there and then, but then I wouldn't have been able to pay for the trip so I still probably wouldn't have made it.

That's not entirely true. Depending on where you land, you have to play the game differently, so you'll explore parts that you may not have seen when you last played that level or whatever. Land behind enemy lines and you'll have a semi-stealth mission on your hands and so on. I don't think you give it enough credit.

Got my 360 back and played Bioshock Demo I was dribbling that game is class I hated it ending i really wanted to see what happens I hope i can find the Ltd Edition

You will definetly have a blast if you get Bioshock even if it is a bit short like Gera it is quality all the way through. :)

I have literally just got back from Westminster London. I was livid, I was made to think I was having a medical and was told not to eat anything for 24hrs and drink nothing but water. I left Plymouth at 8.30am and got to London for 2pm. I was then told I was not having a medical afterall and had a 2hr filmed interview where I was picked to bits, forced to get angry, told I would be contracted to Kill a pig, then a 45 minute Psychology session with a Psychologist they brought in where he picked my life to bits and tried to make me feel like a shit ! I was not impressed at all, then after that they wanted to film me on the Tube because they know I have an issue with being crowded, but I refused that bit because I feel it has no relevance to living in a jungle. Today was a joke, a whole day where I was setup for them to see the worst in my personality and because I hadn't eaten anything and was tired I was at my worst...

Im guessing they got what they wanted out of me. It will be costing the TV channel £50,000.00 to send away each person - so they want to be sure of everything about me before I go.

I've had a bad day...they mess with your mind.

Trouble is they dont understand when I say its a 4.5hr drive up, I was in the offices up there for 3 hours and its a 4.5hrs drive back. AND I don't drive, I was driven so I had a seriously fed up driver who had been driving all day. Weather was hot today up there, not sure what had made the nearest tube have an 1hrs delay though and I certainly wasn't getting on it.

I wont be a vegetrarian pig killer, and I felt today I was purposly bullied into being a character that they were hoping I was. It was horrible, a psychologist ripping in to you doesn't leave you with much answers cos he has an answer and reason back for everything.

Well i've just downloaded Microsoft Visual C# 2005. Got about 10 hours worth of video tutorials, so its time to start learning how to code! Bare in mind i know NOTHING about any of this, could be a right task, but being 18 and knowing nothing about code or anything, and wanting a carrer in games design, i REALLY need to pull my finger out and get learning some shit. I cant think of any job or carrer path i want to do with my life over making games, so if anyone would like to give me come code pointers, or any kind of pointers for that matter, it would be GREATLY appreciated:)

Yeah i been on a hardcore program hunt today, downloaded about 10 different programs/2D engines, none seemed to be any help, i downloaded XNA too, installation failed though, so i'll try a re-download/re-install from your link. with the C# program i have now, i'm not using built in tutorials, i have 16 vid tutorials i downloaded from here (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/vstudio/Aa700773.aspx) over 10 hours worth so it says, so far i've only watched the first, and that was simple, code a button, so yeah did that, gonna check the rest out tomorrow, see how it all goes.

Well with time, its just a matter of how much time youre willing to put into it:)
with skill Jay mentioned before about more colleges doing courses in games design, and i know there are lots of video game orientated uni's around the country, so i just need to get enough UCAS points to be able to goto one (I dropped out of school and only did one GCSE, passed it, but its still only one) i will need to try re-attend a college, one with a games design course to get me started.

From a Canadian perspective, I would say that Europeans are very lucky. Consider that Europe has over 50 different countries in about the same land mass as Canada occupies. It is not difficult for someone from the UK to visit Spain, France or Germany as it is nothing more than a road trip away. Each weekend you could drive to a different country, and enjoy different cultures. On the other end of the spectrum, I would need two weeks vacation to drive across my own country. Going south to the US offers very little difference to life in Canada with the exception of guns displayed in shops everywhere, and huge quantities of cigarette ads everywhere.

Well, we COULD drive to different countries, but if we were to do it in a weekend, assuming we set out at 0600 on Saturday morning, we would arrive in say, germany at 1800, leaving little to do other than sleep as you'd be so tired from the driving, then have to do it all over again in the morning to get back in time for Monday morning.

Certainly from the UK at least, driving is a bad idea unless you're going to France. And that has to be central or Northern France, otherwise it's the same problem as above. Flying is a much easier option.

But real Europeans may feel differently; here in the UK at least, it's not as easy as you make out!

Well for one, there are very few places in Canada where you can see guns anywhere. Now we do sell guns, Canadians have tons of guns (too many if you ask me), but none in sports shops, or Wal-Marts. I was in Boston, and entered into a sports shop, looking for Boston Bruins shirts, and looking around, there where huge displays of rifles, and I am not talking about behind a counter, locked in display cabintets, but on a display stand in the middle of the main floor. That was when I knew I was not in Canada anymore.

But was statement was not ment to indicate everyone was packing heat. The residents of Boston where all extremely friendly, even thou I was wearing my Toronto Maple Leafs hockey jersey for the game that evening.

Timeshift demo is meh. Scripted events kill, and sometimes the time shifting stuff doesn't work the way it should. It's quite annoying, but I'll spend more time with it tomorrow when I'm not so tired.

Exactly what I was thinking after playing it.. Meh.. I must have walked around for 10 minutes in the beginning when that robot shows up. Had no clue I was supposed to go into the building 8)7
I liked the 'freeze time and steel gun' move, although it didn't work for me 8 out of 10 times.

yeah i was slightly disappointed with it too, i think the whole time travel thing works better in 3rd person too maybe thats just me plus its quite hard to see the enemies i thort but the sniper crossbow was a nice add thoe a bit GoW
