Ok...my day has gone well...

Had my interview 9.30am and it ended 9.50am... they know me already so it was just about my qualifications, job role, money - things like that...now just a short wait until I know if I got it or not...

On the way home bought a new watch because I don't like working with my Rolex so got a new Armani one to wear to work so I don't have to keep thinking "Oh my god my watch fell off..." when it hasn't :P

As much as I like Sonic the Hedgehog, I can't help but get the feeling that the game turns into something else about half-way. At the start is what the game wants to be, with the loops, the slopes and the springs prevalent throughout. As you progress though the game begins to resemble something out of Super Mario Bros. I mean, jumping from platform to platform while avoiding swinging spikeballs? Underwater? A long way from the previous high-octane adventures beforehand. Or, trying to cross walkways that open and close to your doom every second and getting the timing right to get past fires gushing out of a small pipe, at the same time. It isn't helped by Sonic having to speed up/down all the time. It would be nice if Sonic had the responsiveness of his mustachioed counterpart to overcome such challenges.

Nino was editor for all the news content before Ross. He posted a LOT of times on the forums and is gaming mad. He got a placement with EA Games in the summer in Spain and hasn't been on since. I get the odd console message now and then - but few and far between.

i'm sure you could find boots if you go shopping in london, you can buy doc martins where i live and only 15000 people live here so im sure you can in london. (try some of the more "alternate" dress shops or army surplus, if your really desperate you can get them in high wycmbe market on saturdays it about half an hour away)

As Nayse says, Diet Coke is actually worse for you because of the chemicals they put in it to make it sugar free, or Diet or whatever. While ordinary Coke will mess your teeth up (who cares? We're British anyway!), the other variations will eventually mess your insides up more.

No joke, I was farting every 5 seconds, and they were the hot, silent, lingering, really stinky type of farts.
Stopped eating the mints, the gas went away......:P

Alright guys, please help a brother out here. I'm trying to convert this file to any type of video (flv, mpg, avi...) AND a windows screensaver. I've tried SUPER, Magic Video Converter, and i tried SWF2Video but it always says it's missing a DLL file, no matter where i download it. please help!!

a DLL file is typically a shared system file. You know when you're deleting a program and you recieve a notification "file11133.dll is a shared file. Deleting it may affect other programs that access this file"

or something like that? Well, thats probably what happened. Its your system that s missing the file, not the program you're trying to run.

I thought a .DLL was a dynamic link library, which is a collection of small programs, which can be called upon when needed by the executable program (EXE) that is running. The DLL lets the EXE communicate with a specific device, such as a printer, or may contain source code to do particular functions.

This allows the EXE file to be smaller so taking up less processing power due to fact it is not running programs unless they are required.

All in all a DLL is an EXE file that cannot run on its own, it can only run from inside an EXE file.

Or that was my understanding anyway, but then again I just work with programmers, I don't do the programming.

I just say "Make it do this". Then they do.

Then they say "Make sure it works". So I do.

Anyway, on a happier note, my RRoD 360 has finally on third attempt from UPS (First time turning up when nobody was there, 1 hour after he was supposed to turn up. Second time, because THE FUCKING LABEL I PRINTED FROM THEIR WEBSITE WAS TOO FUCKING BIG!?!?!?!?!?). So I will finally be getting back online to whoop some ass again.

The program comes with a bunch of DLL files already in it, the one it says is missing follows their naming conventions, leading me to believe it's a file only associated with that program. Oh, and it's only the program SWF2Video that has the error, in case you thought i meant all the programs had the same error. I just need a free way to convert the file that actually works.

:D - I was 24 in that pic and it was in fact used for MSN women when MSN used to have chatrooms, they scrapped them in 2005 or 2006 and aint bothered with it since.

Tonight was the worst fucking night at work. I hate people. Between retards who order baked potatoes (we have never sold a single fucking potato at this restaurant, it's a burger place), and people who sit like a deaf and blind idiot when I ask what they want to drink, I was ready to just say fuck it and leave.

One of my tables ordered mini-cheeseburgers, and they came out very slightly pink. After flagging me down (quite frantically) they demanded the food be taken off their bill, and informed me that there is "that beef thing going around" and they don't want their kids (a bunch of screaming idiots) to get it. I really, really wanted to tell them I hoped their kids got sick from the non-existent "beef thing" and that they should never come back. Fucking idiots. Apparently their wives weren't allowed to order their own food either, their husbands ordered their food for them, and when the wives protested, they said "No, you'll like it." Then turned to me and said, "That's what she'll have."

Later that night, I had a 15-person table, and they had the nerve to ask for another server when it took me ALMOST 4 whole minutes to pour 15 different drinks.

just finished jericho, its a bit weird- looks very nice in places but is dodgy aswell, especially the end. worth a borrow (i wouldnt pay if i were you)
my memories of snes got me reading the history of VGs on wikipedia, its good to look at the old shit but its crazy what you forget over the years. theres a big page for each gen, with a couple of consoles i dont remember atall, worth a look if youre bored, zombified and quadro-spazzed like i am today.

fuck knows, soz mate; i thought that was a crap game and i only played through it because it thought it might actually have an ending. oops. forget i said that. it has an ending and its errr... great. try gamefaqs, theyll help you out of a fix.
that game wouldve rocked if you could go outside in the future and use a katana or some shit, the gameplays smooth, but its so repetitive and easy.

Well I've submitted an application to join the Army's HR & Finance as you can do so up until 33. Maybe it's a stupid idea - but maybe it would suit me better than anything I'm doing now - don't really know, but it's probably my pre-30 crisis talking

As far as I know you have an interview & medical then live 2 weeks in a training camp before signing your life away

Polish people who come over here to work are saving their money and sending it back home and millions of polish fathers have been claiming child benefit for one child (money from the state) even though their kids don't live here and sending the money back home - that's milllions & millions of pounds which has been taken out of the UK economy and shipped over to poland illegally. It's millions that our retailers have missed out on and polish people are ruining our economy.

Plus our government will soon pay each non EU illegal immigrant £4000.00 to go back home with.

It's also incredibly expensive. Here in London, a bus ride for an adult costs £2. You can get an Oyster card, which is like a pre-pay system and that cuts the rate down to 90p.

The thing is, the adult fare cost less than that 5 years ago.

Children used to be able to get the bus for free, now they gotta have an Oyster card of their own or they have to pay some fare that I don't know. Not that they care; schoolkids just pile into the bus to get on for free. Most drivers just let them on anyway, so not many people care about that.

Where I live it is £2.60 for a Bus Ride into Plymouth which is about 5 miles away
