Completely off topic, but i MUST remember to tell you all my amazing story from last week, well it may not be amazing to you, but it is to me, so yeah. I would tell you all now, but i've just got home from a long shift at work which as usual consisted constant standing up/running around for things (fuck i hate not being able to sit down at work, ever, a stoner without sitting is like... It's also incredibly expensive. Here in London, a bus ride for an adult costs £2. You can get an Oyster card, which is like a pre-pay system and that cuts the rate down to 90p.

The thing is, the adult fare cost less than that 5 years ago.

Children used to be able to get the bus for free, now they gotta have an Oyster card of their own or they have to pay some fare that I don't know. Not that they care; schoolkids just pile into the bus to get on for free. Most drivers just let them on anyway, so not many people care about that.


I fucking hate kids on buses. I purposly sit at the top deck at the back, not to appear like the hard man but purely to put out the youngsters that want to appear like the hard men.

And when I don't sit in that seat, usually when I have my guitar with me (since I can't be arsed lugging it up and back there) i usually get some loose excuse for a coherent human being sitting their big fat ass on my thigh to then turn round look at the guitar case and say:

"Hiya, is that a guitar?"

To which the only response I can ever offer is:

"No, it's a fucking flute, I just keep it in a guitar shaped case"

Well it nearly happened on Monday when I thought the house was going to take off in the bout of exceptionally bad weather we had... which has now just hit other parts of the UK.

My post count is mostly because of March - October 2007 where I worked mostly on my laptop and kept Xboxic on in the background all day.

Right, so I got my Xbox back last night after the debacle that is UPS's delivery procedure (minus the faceplate?!?!?!?!). Spent 20 minutes on hold to Customer Support and they are sending out a new faceplate, great, problem solved?

Nope.

Plugged the bastard in, ethernet attached. Tried to login to live. And my fucking gamertag won't login at all. My gold subscription did run out while it was away but can't even get in to update the account?!?!?!?! I can login to my gamertag when the ethernet is unplugged. Just when it is in it will login to the tag but not on to Live (silver or gold status).

WTF?

u prolly already tried this but run a test of your connection and it should tell you why u cant login. mines done this abunch and its usually my ip address or dns server cant connect or failed to connect. other than those 2 things i dont nething that would be of much help.

Yup, tried that one.

It logs you out for the connection test anyway so it ain't checking the actual gamer profile just your connection to live.

I have another profile on the box that has silver status and that goes straight in no problem.

So it seems the issue is the tag, can't help feeling it has something to do with running out of gold status while the box was fooked.

At work we get free cabs home if we want, but waiting for them sometimes pisses me off, so last week i decided to get a bus home after closing up at work, its around 12:30/1am, i'm walking past the local co-op a minute away from my house, headphones in as usual, and for some reason i felt the need to pause my music, and some random girl over the other side of the road was calling my name...

Turns out her boyfriend was called Chris and she was supposed to meet him there after she had been pub, but he ditched her cause he was a dick so i heard. I had never met this girl before, but we ended up sitting outside the shop hjust chatting for about half hour, she was pretty hot and was pretty fun to talk to, so i stayed for a while. I must admit, as good as CoD4 is - I'm not as hooked on it as CoD3 had me. A map from CoD2 was brought back for CoD3. It would be good if they brought a CoD3 map back into CoD4

Well I guess the maps in CoD2 were made for CoD2, but they put one in CoD3 as a bonus and some maps from original PC CoD and CoD United Offensive... but both games were WWII based so it kinda worked.

CoD4 is entirely fictional and if they threw in a french map as a bonus - I wouldn't be bothered about the story. My favourite CoD3 map is Merville

I was going on about the website I got the split thing from and that it has MS spies on there going through accounts because MS can't detect gamesave editing. The split tool makes the console think and show the save as legit - it resigns it.... but I don't use it hence why I STILL need to finish Halo legendary, TNMT, TestDrive & Sonic Retail LOL, tested it though but I dont want a banned console cos I aint all that sure what they would know and not know... I love my 360 too much

Then Julie (the new woman) told me to get a Euro, so out comes this thing in tinfoil, opening it felt like christmas, and I was greeted with a donor kebab!?!? But, boooooooo fly back on Wednesday, but on the bright side worthwile trip and she is over to Scotland in May so not long to wait.

Well GTA IV is coming out before Summer, but the single-player mode should keep him busy until he renews his Gold membership ;).

DMC 4 was just as I expected. I started playing it on Devil Hunter and finished it just yesterday. Wasn't that hard really ... you just have to play agressively. The story was a bit on the disappointing side because it was way too predictable, especially in the end, and there weren't any good plot twists. In short, it was meh. But the combat and all that is simply brilliant, as there's countless possibilities to take down enemies. Dante's repertoire of moves and weapons is just insane. Overall, it's a great single-player experience and it's a must for any action/adventure fan imo.

I dunno if I will get DMC4 just cos I am anal and want all the back story (i bought every Resident evil before I played 4) and I don't really want a blu-ray PS2 ;) plus all the current ones are 40gb and not bc :P

But I played the demo and I have to admit it was pretty sexy
