he's a reader of the site for a while (I recognize the screen name on the FP) and disagrees with Xboxic's scoring system.

"Absolute values or else!" Seems to be the rally cry.

Glad to see you joined the forums Tater. I thought I was in the wrong place when I read more than 2 consecutive posts without the words "y'all, fag, douche, twat or event he dreaded (yet hillarious!) twat-waffle". Intelligent debate? On Xboxic? nah....get out of town :o

While most facets in life are governed by absolute values, reviews (whether of books/film/games/food ANYTHING) are subjective and by their very nature can allow for a 'perfect' score. Please note the use of quotes around perfect. A reviewed score of 10/10 is not the same thing as a test score of 10/10. Consumer products are not measureable by the same standards (or at least, I don't THINK they should be....).

I'm not a paid reviewer, nor do I review games for anyone other than the few who visit my blog. I started a blog a few months ago reviewing games as I play them.

I went to the Tomatina with an ex-girlfriend and her family, and I have to say it was a great laugh. Our shirts (mine and her father's) were stripped from us within 30 mins of being in the street, and my ex got hit in the head with some snorkeling goggles.

I just bought Breaking Benjamin's newest (I'm not sure how long its been out) album. I think its really good. I rarely buy albums anymore with being able to purchase a single song at a time but I'm glad I got the entire album.

As I explained, I like Rap which many of my friends disregard as "music", and label it under the category "shit". The problem is I don't like any other genre in any depth.

Hence why I buy my music: I don't get new music all that often, so when I do I may as well spend some money on it. Plus the fact that I knew someone who got stung in the region of £5000-£10000 for downloading/uploading music a few years ago. I didn't wanna go down that route.

Hey I am back from the best holiday you could ever imagine. There really is nothing like a cruise at all - you are waited on hand and foot, - I can only speak for the Ventura, but you are treated like a King - and ( sorry denisdenis ) BUT what the fuck is going on over France, the Ventura was targeted at La Rochelle where lorries barracaded the entrance and french men hurled some kind of french abuse. It wasn't safe for anyone to get off the ship - then some French Press in a speed boat follwed us out of port taking pictures and filming it.

I couldn't find a french pastrie called a Madeleine or something - BUT I fucking LOVE 'Pomme' like an omlette shaped donut with apple and cream..mmmmmm

Well in Southampton, theres a few terminals for ships and Ventura was docked in the same terminal as Titanic which was odd because when you look out all you think about is Titanic sailing in the exact same spot along the English Channel - I didn't get it out of my mind until we took a left down into the Bay of Biscay which is known for its very rough seas, but thankfully due to the good weather all week it was calm...

Yeah I felt very strange coming back home because I lost that familiar feeling with everything - plus at the minute I have a bit of Vertigo from being 200ft high all week and walking around with my sea legs on... I actualy really liked the original Half life and played a lot of it on my dreamcast even though I did not finish. Well that is mainly due to this fan that keeps cutting me up to pieces.

But this last friday I got the Orange box through the box and truly agree that it is excellent. I can't believe how much gaming was crammed on just one disk and really got sucked into half life 2 this weekend as I never played it on PC.:D

Definetly looking forward to doing the two chapters after finishing the main game to find out more about the story.

Rockford Illinois.

I will be staying in the Hard Rock in Chicago for one night on my arrival though and going back to Chicago for July the 4th.

Going camping in Wisconsin (Spelling?!?) for three days too.

And where as I will make some headway in to getting fat (say what you want the Yanks know how to do breakfast, they just don't know how to do portions) and I have yet to have a shot at firing a gun those aren't the reasons. Going back to see the girlfriend, these transcontinental relationships ain't easy or cheap but this one is worth it.

She has been over here though and loves it so plans to move over for good in August so that should make things cheaper at least.

Well now I wouldn't say cheap, after if you want a good hermie habitat it can cost everywhere from $50-175 or more. It just depends on what your willing to pay. I mean don't get me wrong, I don't have my hermies yet, but that's becuase I calculated teh costs and I'm saving my money until I can get the proper equiptment for a hermie habitat. I got my copy of Alone in the Dark 8am this morning, loving it. Its a great game - not one to be rushed through. Going 3rd person & back to first person is a bit awkward sometimes - but graphics are very impressive.

I like it a lot. Its a worthwhile purchase for anyone who likes Condemned / Bioshock type stuff...
Im quite hyoed about Cod5 at the moment, can't wait to see the trailer and looking forward to using perks & ranks that we have in Cod4 in CoD5's single player...just can't wait... Im working til 7pm though

Seeing as I've never understood the rules of American football I got NFL 07 yesterday for a mighty £6 to try and learn what all the fuss is about.

It's a hell of a lot more tactical then I thought it would be but I keep getting penalised for offside defence, what the hell is that? In football you can only be offside if you're attacking the opponents half so this seems weird. I should probably read up a lot more on the rules as I have no idea about the whole 1st down and 4 and shit.

LOL! Last night some crazy shit happened, about 2ish, i heard loads of shouting otuside, it was someone i've known for years, (hes a bit crazy, been in prison couple times blah blah) and hes going nuts at his mums/ex girlfriends house, screaming, booting the door, this goes on for a while, he finally gets back one of the things he wants (his pit bull, looks scary but is soft as shit, lovely dog lol) Soon the police end up there, they wont go near him cause they dont know how dangerous the dog is, hes shouting " I'll set the fuckin dog on ya! Don't fucking come near me! You gonna fucking shoot me?!"

This goes on for a while, i decide my window has a shit view, so i got dressed and snuck around some of the corners from all angles, i end up bumping into some mates from around my area, they are sitting there taking pics, i go get my camera, by the time i come back, theres about 5 police cars,4 police vans, about 30 police and an armed response unit. We spoke to them a bit, then they moved us on, i got what little pics i could, but after they moved us we were at a shit angle.
From what we heard, they eventually shot him with something, something quiet, maybe a tranquilizer or something,. cause he made no sound and the dog ended up running off, they all packed up and left. Pity i didn't actually see that part happen, pics would have been great! I'll upload any that came out okay now and stick them up in a bit:P

My xbox has officialy died i got the 3 red lights yesterday and UPS picked it up early this morning, when i get it back it will be my third , and it broke almost a year to the day 7th aug i got it.

does anyone know how long it takes to come back i remember last time it was about 5 weeks.

I'll admit that I don't know how easy or hard it is to obtain a concealing licence, so perhaps my view is a little biased. I just don't see how this law helps anything. Yes you might be sane, but what about some other nut case? Shoot up on public transport is going to go down well.

thats a valid argument that alot of people have around here. if you knew all the things they check for when you apply for the license youd think diffrently. now im not saying it cant happen but how often has some nut case stayed out of trouble (felonys, arrest for anything) for 21 years and then applied for the license then goes on a rampage? they check every detail in your past and fingerprint you. yea it can be easy for one to fall through the cracks but thats rare. its really there for citizens to protect themselves from those who break the law. and whoever said its easier to get guns when there legal is wayyy wrong...atleast over here.

On the God of War CGI trailer:
Let’s be honest, the trailer itself wasn’t that good anyways. I’d rather have seen some slightly janky gameplay then CGI rendered Kratos on top of a pile of rubble, but maybe that’s just me. The game will likely be good, but Sony’s presentation of it leaves much to be desired. They should realize that the power of the PS3 doesn’t just lay in the ability to create pretty CGI cutscenes. In the end there isn’t chaos, only disappointment.

Lol didn't you like Angel of Darkness Jay ;) I haven't seen it yet though I will go check it out I have seen lots of screenshots and it looked good!

I have only seen a blocky version of the trailer it did look good I wasn't overly impressed with 3 but it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be!
