MS haven't made themes obsolete "not long after", themes have been kicking around since 2005, that's three years with themes, times change and things move on. And there's a reason MS are a billion dollar company, and it's because they can get away with charging for silly shit, because there's always some mug out there who will buy it. They never forced you to, they put it there for you to consider. You lapped it up, I doubt they care that you're complaining now.

If anyone is in financial trouble where they have to try and claw back themes from MS, I doubt they'd be wasting time online right now, there would surely be some more effective ways to cut costs.

People know the NXE is coming, if they choose to buy themes that's their own fault. MS don't have to help out with that if people are stupid enough to continue to buy them.

No, I aint paying shit loads for windows when my mates got tonnes of cracked copies. Everything tastes better free, even windows, trust me, lick a cracked XP disk (don't bother with vista, yes everything tastes better free, but vista is a nasty taste anyway, its only a slight improvement free ;)), its like a fucking gourmet dinner!

Some "older" hardware isn't supported in Vista. I had an old printer for instance, which still worked perfectly, but HP didn't have any Vista drivers for it. So I had to use the built-in standard vista printer driver thing which doesn't really work so well.

Plus I am using it as practise to get to know the processes of it - eventually I want to have some kind of place for accountancy and self employed people, maybe tie it in with some form of recruitment website.

It cost's £10 per year for xboxic.co.uk which I snapped up before twoxist got it who now has a forum very very close to thryons domain funny enough:)

then the hosting isn't all that expensive really if you look around.

I know how it is... I broke my left leg in 3 places a long time ago (a shed fell on me) which has caused my left leg to be just under 1/4 an Inch shorter than my right leg. Spent 7 weeks with it in traction and I can't play any sports that involve running...

and the cold weather sometimes makes it ache in the places where it broken.

The only real lasting damage was a pinched nerve in his lower back. This has cut off Jay's ability to control the flexing of his sphincter, and while hillarious to 3rd parties, has created more than a few embarassign moments for J.

Esspecially whenever he coughs. Loads (pardom the pun) of fun for all but him.

Well check out the Call of Duty: WW thread as for me they rejected the offer and redeem points together for this game. I have £10 in game points still for another game, but quite lame that they wont let me use the two together to get £20 off it.

yesterday, I left the office a bit early to run a personal errand, and after that was done, I had planned to pick up GoW2. Not for nothing, as I just got CoD5, but a couple good friends have GoW and I wanted to play with them.

Money's tight, so I changed over what little Euro's I had from years ago to make the purchase and pay a couple bills.

On my way to the store to buy GoW, I got pulled over by a cop for speeding. Minor ticket, but still $110. So now I can no longer afford the game AGAIN!

Not the end of the world, right? After all, it was my own dumb ass that was speeding. I get that, though I'm less than happy about it. Anyways, I was feeling a bit stressed, so I felt that a night of shooting up the world in CoD would make me feel better.

30 mins into playing, my xbox died. No warnings, no mistakes, just death.

The problem with the gamercards on this website is when you have an avatar gamerpic they vanish... when you have a standard gamerpic it comes back.

On the NXE feedback page for those with preview I have literally begged for a tab to be put on gamerpics options. I hate it that new ones are at bottom of the list after it has downloaded (unless you click change gamerpic right after download) but they should put in a Recently Downloaded tab to show you new ones first, not last. It's so irritating...

Ive noticed with the nxe thing as soon as you sign into Live it takes you to a section called Spotlight, instead of My Xbox...I hate the spotlight, it should be optional - fucking hate it everytime I sign in.

I don't think they are making any changes for the Wed. release. I'm "pretty sure" that you guys were just the guinea pigs to make sure that it works properly with a larger test group.....

I like both, but CoD is better for me.
This time around I really quite like Gears2 and the multiplayer too, but I can't put Call of Duty down right now - seriously way better than I thought. I was expecting something quite similar to Call of Duty 3 for the campaign mode. I even said it was going to be CoD3.5 but the campaign plays just as good as CoD4 and in some parts a WWII remake of CoD4.

On multiplayer is a map called 'Downfall' in all the time I've played multiplayer games online I have never seen a map as great as that in ANY game. It has to be the biggest, best designed, most amazing creation of a map I have seen in my life.

The gamerpic?

Yes when you create your avatar you have the option to create a gamerpic with it by making your avatar stand like a model and move head, zoom in, out...there are ways to make the avatar spin around and jump if you play with the buttons long enough.

Once you make the gamerpic and choose the bg colour, you save it. To make it your personal gamerpic you just go to your profile and change gamerpic and the avatar one will be first on the list for you to choose.

To have any other gamerpic in place of your avatar pic you just select from the gamerpic list in the normal way.

But there are ways to cap image sizes used, but I am more inclined to think it is also so that Curry doesn't have to use the images on his server as people would need to upload a signature image unless HTML could be used...then though if HTML could be used we'd have bigger spamming problems...

Some people are getting it already. Every single person who signed up to nxe preview got it this morning, and from what I can gather some other random people have had it by surprise tonight. 3 people on my friends list switched on about 1 hr ago and they have it now.

Takes about 15 minutes to download. You will get the first download which is an installer, then it will download the 2nd part giving you the minutes left...whatever you do - dont remove any mem cards or switch off as it could cause problems

You'll be fine, but just limited when installing games to HDD. Each game takes around 7GB. I've a 120GB HDD but even I only put on the games I intend to play most. CoD 4, CoD WW, & GEARS2...it's pointless throwing anything on it other than the game you intend to spend a lot of time on.

People are playing UNO again because the avatars can be used in them instead of vision cam. Means people who dont want cock waved in their faces can play again.

It has taken away the privacy because you can see everyone else in a friends party. For anyone who is interested, the Seriously 2.0 achievement in GEARS2 does NOT unlock a suit for the avatar, a guy on my friends list has it and tried it...nothing unless an update to GEARS2 comes soon which enables it.

It is ridiculously addictive, I didn't do much of the first game but have taken over on the sequal from the other half. I managed to get a copy for £21.50 as used my game points on it. I don't think it can be as bad as the last Sonic game though...but it's just a little loyalty I owe the hog for a good childhood...lol...

Sonic Unleashed is great ! Its exactly how a next gen sonic should be, it has a back to basic feel of just running through the levels, getting your rings, killing things... the werehog is good ! In fact his levels always feel a bit Tomb Raider-ish

Not sure how many has tried the MSN Beta...been using it for ages and then found out that with the new one you can sign in on MSN on multiple devices, xbox, phone, pc, laptop...all at the same time...

I think you're right on ... You can't let stuff like that get to you (or @ least show it outwardly) b/c it makes you unnattractive. You gotta act indiferent when it's driving you crazy that she hasn't called back yet. The last thing you'd want to do is scare the girl off.

Of course each girl's different ... I've been with girls who want you to check up on them all the time ... but they are definitely the exception, not the rule.

From what I heard there was a new trailer released with a film and its been delayed because they have totally remade the game engine! It has that Secret Window/ The Machinist look about it I am kind of still interested just purely cos the dev's also made Max Payne

im awake...there just isnt anything exiting to talk about for me. Plus with my laptop shot I can only post here during the week when at work. I did enjoy a nice weekend of hunting and college football but im starting to think deer are just ghost who shit and tear up trees cause I have yet to see any. But when I do there will be a bullet with there name on it. >:)
