I have straws because coke damages the enamel on the front of your teeth. By using the straw the coke misses the front teeth.

Inititally I was like is it worth getting the elite... well my console is out of warranty, had the 1 light incident, now the 3 light incident....it'll be sold before it's bricked completely.

Yes Im buying the elite...

but I will sell my xbox360 quite a bit before it comes out because when the elite release date gets confirmed...there'll be a ton of 360's on ebay, and I want to sell it before ebay gets swamped. I'll have to live without a 360 for a short while from July until it's released. AND I will buy extra warranty if theres one of those extra warranty offer things inside the elite box...

And I am sad to report Xboxic is the least compatible site I've seen in widescreen so far, it's all on the left and a huge white bar to the right. I have a widescreen laptop which shows Xboxic looking a lot better in widescreen mode. I use the IE7 that comes with Vista and maybe that displays websites correctly in widescreen...

For those who have played Dead Rising: Would it be possible to defeat all ten psychopaths on my first playthrough? Or will I have to replay 72 hour mode several times?

Getting them all on one play through is going to be damn near impossible starting off at level one.
Easiest way to level up is play through the opening scene, Get alot of good pictures from the chopper: the dude on the car-take pic as he's getting eatin; The lady on the roof- take pic as she is being swarmed, right as she is falling off the roof, then as she splats on the ground>:) ; and of course get one of the exploding gas station, you get either 1000 or 10000, I forget. Finally take a pic of the two old fucks on the roof as they hug for 10,000 then bring them in for more prestige points
If you do this like 10-15 times it'll take you less than an hour and you'll be around a level 25-30 and should be able to breeze through those guys, just remeber- blades and books

The old farts are on the roof right after you exit the control room area via the air duct. It's the rooftop where there is an elevator on the right side and a door on the far left side. The old man will be near the elevator and the crusty old hag will be near the door.

Another tip to make it smoother is right after you rescue those old fucks, save and then select the save and start over (I forgot how it was worded, some fucked up way) I got to a 30 in just under 4 hours and then walk around the mall getting Prestige Points.
If you cut open all the punching bags in the gyms you get like 10,000 PP and if you run on the treadmills for 30 secs you get like 2,000 for each 'mill and i think like 5,000 for doing them all. Put a saucepan on all the burners for 2,000 each and 10,000 total. theres a couple other tricks too, let me know if you need more help

I have only 8 in-game hours left to complete the 72h mode. I've read lots of walkthroughs, so I don't mess up anything :P. The best thing to do now seems to be taking that helicopter down, and killing 10 soldiers for those 2 achievements. I'm aware that I'll need to go speak to Isabela 2 hrs before the rescue arrives to unlock the true ending (I've done all the cases). Afterwards, I'm not gonna start the Overtime mode but the 72h mode again to get the Zombie Genocider achievement, thus unlocking the Mega Man blaster which is very useful I've heard. With that unlocked, I'll do the Overtime mode and then go after the rest of the achievements (not all of them of course lol).

God I hate Jostiq after reading their hands-on impressions of DMC 4. They bitch about the flow of the game and go as far as to say it's something between "molasses and your Sunday drive to Wal-Mart". If you look at all other gaming sites like IGN, Games Radar, and Gamespot, they all came away satisfied with how the game looks and plays. Jostiq, on the other hand, does nothing but criticize the game all throughout the preview. I agree the game is not considerably different from DMC 3 but basically calling it a shitty game is just pushing it way too far. Plus, it's a fucking work-in-progress build!! Yeah, but Ninja Gaiden is better, much more fluent. Also - this is said a lot, but the harder modes on DMC are cheap, they take more to kill and give more damage.

The other thing, is that when listening to a lot of podcasts, listening to which person on the staff gets to go to these events such as the Capcom event, it's usually the big fanboys of the series. 1up.com sent Luke Smith (A huge Halo 2 fanboy) to go 'preview' Halo 3 back in October. Guess what? He LOVED Halo 3. Wow, what a surprise. All I'm saying, is that maybe all these other previewers that are saying it was great are fanboys to begin with.

That's very relative. Every year some reviewers of Madden complain about the lack of innovation. If a person reviews the game who has never heard or seen any history of the Madden franchise, they wouldn't complain about the "Roster Update" that so many sports title reviewers do because the whole thing is new to begin with. I think reviewers of games shouldn't be a fan of the genre actually, because you then go into it with a bias. At the same time, you don't want a Devil May Cry hater reviewing it either. Reviewers should go into a game with a clean slate.

Question though: What would have more weight to you? A Devil May Cry fanboy saying Devil May Cry 4 is an good game, or seeing a Devil May Cry hater say that Devil May Cry 4 is an good game?

I was told on the FrontPage that I was the victim of sexual abuse from my father and uncle and that I enjoyed it amongst other stuff. The comment really was insulting to those who had been, but that comment wasn't even removed. Some people can stoop so low, but there doesn't seem to be a line here as to acceptable and not acceptable. I posted a link to a dead head which wasn't gory or all blood n stuff, but that was removed as it was deemed tasteless. They do let people go further than most sites I think, but when something clearly is unacceptable because it crosses boundaries and it's staring you in the face. I sometimes wonder why it's still there for all to read.

I guess with thousands and thousands of comments here, they can't read every single one, so all you can do is report it and see what they say. But responding back to vile comments only fuels the original poster up. So if it's looked into your responce back should be removed also.

The marketplace blade is changes depending on what live are promoting at the time, so if theres a gears tourny it will be a gears background, if the darkness is coming out it will be a darkness background, and so on:).
