How can you not like the game man, It's one of the best multiplayer games in the world. I just reached the 9,200 point marker and on my way to become a Major at 10,700 points. The chopper makes the whole game worthwile

ya man, its an awesome game, and whoever played the demo and said it sucked. I would just like to say that the whole reason for demos is to get you into the GAMEPLAY not the graphics, if you dont know by now that demos have downgraded graphics then you really should shoot yourself. Why would they put the best graphics ever on a demo? it would take up too much space and they dont have time for that kind of stuff.

If you want the game to sell, then you'd make sure the demo is top notch with as much bling bling as the game can handle. This includes superior graphics which should convince some gamers to buy it. They don't make demo's to showoff the gameplay alone. 8)7

I actually didn't mind the graphics and didn't say I did. It just wasn't my kind of game, just like Halo. Good thing tastes differ huh or we'd all be playing the same thing over and over ;)

I really like Battlefield 2, only got it a couple of days ago and played multiplayer for the first time last night.
I had a bit of a shaky start as in my first game there were 4 enemy Apache's circling our base and we had no other territory so every time we spawned we got hit by rockets straight away and killed. It was quite frustrating :-( but I persevered and really got into it. It can become really intense and you can have some great battles. It really feels like your on the frontline too. The only thing I dont like about the multiplayer is the red circle that appears over an enemy when your close, It sort of means you cant hide. :'(
I prefer the multiplayer on this to GRAW but I prefer the single player on GRAW at the moment. >:)

The learning curve takes a while and it just gets annoying. You either are good at it or you aren't. I prefer CoD2 because it's so intense. GR:AW is the same way except it's more of a 'camping' game. The graphics were fine, the gameplay was great, the variety of weapons and C4 pwnt but it was a very bland game with not much to it.

I liked this game a lot. Im trying to get into chromehounds at the moment for the same reason really, I just love big online 'war' games.
PS: get the sedan in backstab, cover the front in c4 and suicide bomb the american base. Effective and funny, but it gets you plenty of dark side points.

Same here, Huxley sounds great, yet it's not getting the coverage of big games like mass effect and gears of war.

def a huge fan of BF2 for the 360 and online is pretty money. I did play and beat GRAW but online was such a hassle compared to BF2. I just want to get in there and play not sit around in lobbies for 45 mins.

Mass Effect and GoW make news regularly. On Huxley all we (as press) get is silence. Last info I can find are 3 screenshots and a fact sheet from E3, before that it was February that we last heard anything of it.

Huxley is an upcoming MMOFPS which is rumored to have up to 100 person battles, fingers crossed this one actually happens.
As far as liking BF 2 MC goes, I think it all has to do with what kind of FPS you're into. BF is move of a run and gun as oppossed to tactical shooters like GRAW. I ussually buy them all, but for online gameplay I totally prefer run and gun.

How can you set off the C4 whilst driving? or do you mean just ram the sedan into a tank or something? I'm just keen to try this tonight. I wanna take the sedan up to the american base near the american main HQ and use the terrain to jump through the air so that I land in the center killing anyone there. Probably wont work but would be funny to watch. >:)

IGN still has its release date on "TBA 2006" and even gave Huxley a "Best of E3" (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/709/709247p1.html) award :)
The first generation of Xbox 360 games came and went and, for most people, at least one of the questions remained in their minds: Why do these games still look like high-res Xbox games? Not only is Huxley going to be a cross-platform Xbox 360-PC game, it will also be an MMO, and thanks to the Unreal 3.0 engine on which it's running, it's beautiful. What? Did we say cross-platform, MMO and beautiful in one run-on sentence? Yes. Webzen's game is already polished and filled with great details, particularly on the characters and their weapons, but the depth of field is solid and the landscapes are also impressive. You can create your own character and pick from one of two classes (Sapiens and Alternatives), but there is a third, the Hybrids, which your character Sabato is strangely sympathetic to. One last thing worth mentioning, there is a fully realized single-player game. Yes, it all sounds too good to be true. If Webzen pulls this off, and it looks like it's going to, this will be the MMO to watch -- and for others to follow on Xbox 360.
That doesn't sound like "pants" to me :D

I might take BF2 online shortly. I was awful online in the demo, but I'm stuck now in the single-player (the level where you have to blow up the bridge), and I need to start earning some more points.

Once you put the c4 on a vehicle make sure that you keep the detonator in your hand. When you see something that you want to blow up, get out of the vehicle and hit the detonator. Make sure you don't blow the vehicle up to close to yourself or it's "lights out". Also, you can have the vehicle going full speed and get out (makes a great missile, but it's all about the timing). Hope this helps. :)

That's what kills online multiplayer for me. Everyone always trying to find the cheapest way to win in every single video game. And yes, I know these people aren't glitching, and that they're only using what was given to them. To me though, it just kills the experience. Seems like whenever a new game is released they say to themselves, "What shady things can we do (that should probably be fixed in a patch) to win?"
When people use those cheap kills constantly, the game starts to get too vanilla and predictable. That goes for all online multiplayer.
but hey, what do I know? Whenever I bring this up, I always get "you must just suck at the game."

Im stuck on this level too, I've tried so many times but its just so frustrating. I know you have to select your sniper first to take out the chopper. Does anyone know the best way to approach this level? should you go head on or find a sneaky route? :'(

I did get quite far up the bridge a couple of times, and not by using the sniper. One of the tricks is to get someone on the mounted gun by that sentry point near the start, that gun can take the chopper down pretty quickly and also make mincemeat of the nearby soldiers. At first I found it really easy to get to the gun, but now the enemy seems to swarm all over it straight away :-(
I'm stuck on one of the Hotswap challenges too, but I think I just need a bit more practice.

If your talking about the C4 on the car then trust me that is not a cheap way to win. It would be difficult to even kill someone using this tactic. Its cheaper to be a sniper camping out near an opponents base the whole time. If you play BFMC you will realise the C4 on the car trick is difficult to pull off effectively and even if you do manage to kill a guy or blow up a tank your certainly not going to be any closer to winning the match.

Ive been quite far down the bridge too, just had one more bomb to place and I got shot in the back. It would be easy if your computer controlled team mates actually used some tactics rather than just run towards the nearest person with a gun and get themselves killed. :-(

I get what you're saying. I guess I really haven't played the complete Xbox 360 version of this yet, just the original. But, when I played then, it was always the same guys suicide bombing, and setting bombs everywhere in the map. Like I said, I know it isn't cheating, it's just annoying and it makes people that just want to get on Xbox Live to have a good time not want to play anymore.
I don't like the 11-15 year olds screaming some dumbass pattycake song the whole time because they think it's the most hilarious thing in the world. Damn simpletons. (Btw, these are the same kids who scream pwnt!#$!!!! as loud as they can) Real original, titneck.
I stopped playing Halo 2 because people just took themselves and the GAME (remember, it's a video game, not the olympics) way too seriously and it sucked all the fun out of it for me.

I know what you mean, BFMC is ok for that though as hardly anyone uses the Mic feature for some reason. One thing about this game that really annoys me is team killers. I dont take the game too seriously but that really makes me :-( .
Also when I was playing last night I went in to a couple of games where all people were doing was meeting up trying to gain acheivements rather then play the game how it was supposed to be played.
It was was funny though as they were going for the 'mortar' achievement where you have to kill a certain amout of people with a mortar strike. What they were doing was all meeting up in the center of the map, getting into a big group while they take it in turns to launch mortar strikes. To ruin their fun I decided to camp out near an ammo box overlooking their position, everytime they formed a group I would lauch a rocket at them or sniper them all. You should have seen the abuse they gave me! :o :+ >:) O-)

Right, to suicide bomb all you need to do is;
Load up backstab.
Play as the MEC
Spawn at flag 3, and get to the Sedan or the Pickup.
Cover the front in C4
Drive the car into a tank or car, trying not to die.
Just before you hit the target press Y to switch seats and set off the C4. BOOOOOOM.
Have fun kids. Dont do anything GWB wouldnt! ;)
To Chris: Noob man, Im a MLG gamer, SWAT is for pros you must suck teh lols. THE NOOB COMBO SUCKS! BURN THE SMG! (btw, I am joking. Your right about people taking games to seriously, as those people are insane.)
To Curry: :P We shall see if Huxley ever comes out wont we. I hope it does, but somehow I doubt it will be anytime soon if at all.

It's not that people don't use the mic function, it's that EA a responsible for it hardly working and so nobody can hear everyone else on the team, most of the time you can just hear the person you are standing beside/in the tank/car/helicopter with.
