Looks like the Playstation 3 is becoming the system everyone suspected!

As of now, the Playstation 3 is having some major problems with its cell proccessor in memory performance. To be specific its the local memory, which is highly important to the console. Apparently, the Playstation 3 can only read at 16mb/s while it can write at 4GB/s. Are you suprised? I'm not. I think the picture below speaks for itself, especially the part that says "(no, this isn't a typo)". So what exactly does this mean? Let's see what the author had to say about this: "Someone screwed up so badly it looks like it will relegate the console to second place behind the 360."

It seems the future of the Xbox 360 becomes even brighter!

This was already debunked on Slashdot but it's no secret that the PS3 and the Xbox 360 are comparable in performance.

I've seen that slide before as well and without reading Slashdot's story I was also under the very distinct impression that it is beyond completely fake.
a) "It's no typo" on an official sheet? As if.
b) A CPU that writes more than three times faster than it can read? As if. 256 times faster? Uhm yeah right ;)
c) It would be impossible to run Quake 2 on a CPU that can read only 16MB/sec from memory. Don't try running MGS4 or UT2k7.
