What do you think of it ?
Is it as great as we all hoped to be? Is there something more missing?
I tried to connect a third party USB Web Camera to one of the USB ports
but was not recognisable. Apparently MS has taken care of that to allow
only the original camera's firmware to be detected and used. It was a nice
try though.
One thing I would like to see in a next update would be the option to turn
on and off the automatic profile view of a friend's gamertag when he
logs in and happens at that exact time when I press the Guide button.
Of course you can always set your online status to Busy , but that
would turn off the Notifications completely. It would be better if I could
still see the pop up window of my friend when he logs in but if I press
the Guide button at that time, I would have the on/off option not to go to
his profile.
What do you think ? What else you think they should add to the next
update?

That 'problem' with the Guide has also been bitching me. I don't care that it goes directly to his/her gamercard, but please let B move back to the main guide or the friends list then instead of back to the game so that it's only a 1-click deroute.

I want a button saying 'Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting' in my Xbox Live Arcade ;(
(oh and I would've preffered the boot-to-dash option to be under different buttons. Left trigger for dash and right trigger for game or something like that.)

I want a single page on the marketplace with all new content from the past week. Not a page for every type of content. It's to much searching at the moment.. I hate searching and want to view all new content with a single click.

I don't really care about the amount of submenus, they're just terribly slow sometimes :(.

I also found it slow but I suspect an awful lot of people have been catching up on their downloading yesterday to "test" background downloads. It'll even out I expect.

First: it's already said, very much people are testing background downloading and downloading on-the-run (just like me ;)
second: They were also updating the servers (faster and better now) the whole long waiting and not finding the list of whatever, should be solved now
Also the downloading speed increased I noticed...
All the problems I seem to had on the first update day look to be solved now (exept the wrong icons for shuffle and normal play I guess...)
Greetings Glenn

The issue I have has been when I come out of a game (360 or live arcade) the dashboard seems to take a while loading something for the first 5 or seconds. When this is happening, I cant move the blades or navigate to anything, I have to wait for it to load or whatever its doing to finish. This however also seems to be related to me deleting most of the E3 vids. When I did that, It seems that everything takes extra time loading.
Maybe they need to release a disk defrager for the HDD.

When you go to the Game Videos and select a video clip to watch
afterwards you are returned to the beginning of your video list and you
have to scroll your way again down to select the next video to see.
You should be returning to the current scroll position you were before
you start watching the video clip.
also
when you are idle for some time the system marks your online status as
away but does not return back to "online" status automatically when you
exit your idle state. Everytime you must set your online status back to
"online" by yourself.

still would like a multi-chat.

Xbox Live needs a text chat if the bandwidth can't handle multiple voice streams.
This might be possible with the full keyboard support released with the update.

whatever happend with the qwerty adon for your controller? Anybody heard anything about that? Would make the typing easier in stead of fooling around with a giant wireless..

Whats the point. Just connect a USB keyboard to your 360.
