Frankie reported in his weekly update that the campaign playtests this week involved lots of driving.... wonder if he was referring to horse riding with a metaphor :+

Did you know Bungie are so scared about the leak of Halo 3 storyline, they've made 2 storylines and some of the Bungie team don't know what's happening.
An article in Game Informer in November 2005 reports that: "Halo developer Bungie is so paranoid about the storyline for Halo 3 leaking out that two different story lines are being worked on so that even the company's employees are in the dark as to the plot of the game."

Well, hopefully the ending will be good,if they're so scared of it being leaked.

I don't know about the ending, but the beginning/trailer is still triggering my fantasy.
In the back on the giant forerunner construction, on the other side of the land you'll see the ruïns of a former city. As it is situated in Africa/Middle East I'd say that city is linked to holy cities today situated in Israël. Like Jeruzalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth or maybe even Jericho where they walked around a couple of times and them the city fell apart. Still no links what this city is about. At least the atmosphere of the earth is still intact at the time of master chief walking there with oxygen and so on because birds are flying away when the spacecrafts fly over...
I am curious about the story line for sure. And Master Chief being gay in the end maybe he gets his @ss ripped by Barbie Ken @ssmate that rips all the Sony fanboys waiting on the delaystation PSZero at the moment? ;)

I still haven't seen all of it, since Firefox keeps telling me I need to install plugins, and whenever a site suggests I install Apple Craptime on my computer I just laugh and close. Nice background pic though ;)

Totally agree.. You'll be missing out on some great movietrailers at quicktime.com if you havent got it running on your system. Never had any issues with that piece of software..

I never wanted quicktime, but learned that i would need it to view alot of things that Windowms media player won't. I've had no problems wiht it or anything so not a bad idea to get it.

The only problem I'm having with quicktime is that you're forced to install Itunes as well.

The only problem I'm having with quicktime is that you're forced to install Itunes as well.I find that rather a big problem, as is QuickTime insisting on running continuously in the background. If it's not useful, it's not becoming a background process on my computer.
The world should learn that Flash has been capable for a few years now of playing streaming video and that 98.8% of web-connected computers have a Flash player installed.

I did, and I know you can resize it, trash the bulky interface and all, but even before it's operational you're asked to configure a zillion options about automatic licensens yadayada, I just want it to play my movies without too much hassle.

Flash can stream anything obviously, it just uses common video codecs. Size and quality restrictions are usually applied because of bandwidth (oil of the internet) and network capacity :)
