I sent mine off Thursday afternoon at 17:00, it arrives at repair centre at 9:30, replacement was sent out 11:30, had it back Monday (couriers don't work Saturdays here). That was ridiculously fast though ;)

Well close enough, it's in Germany for us Europeans and that's a few 100km from here :P Couriers can easily do it in a week. As for sending it back in 2 hours, I may have been very "persuasive" on the phone O-)

I called in on Sat. 7/1 and they are supposed to be sending me a new cable... 10 days later I still don't have it. And I didn't even have to return anything yet.

It took exact 14 days from giving the package to UPS and getting it back from them.
But it could be because I demanded a T/S drive model back, which they maybe didn't had instantly. I didn't want a Hitachi plane to take of besides my TV that's why. I got a T/S back, even more quiet then before, don't know but the more I listen to the drive, I get the idea that they've worked on the sound produced. Could it be on the FW maybe a little bit lower speed of the drive?
Anyhow, 14 days. It was too long, but worth the wait with this drive
