Now this is spooky.. I just finished Escape from Monkey Island[TM] over a minute ago and now you're posting about it..
I'm still waiting for part 5 in the series.. Guybrush mentioned in one of the games that he has a 5 game contract.. so.. where is it??_o_

Ugh you managed to finish the Escape with it's bad puzzles and it's bad quality? Seriously, go play MI1/2/3 (3 was my favorite) if you're looking for good Monkey Island game :P.

You're as repulsive as a monkey in a negligee.

A true Monkey Island[TM] fan also plays the lesser games :P and yes, I've finished the first 3 also.. Part 1 is still my favorite. I didn't like the cartoonstyle from the 3rd game where Guybrush looked like Bernard from DotT. There are allot of 'old friends' in part 4 which I really enjoyed in the game.

I started out with the Curse so I was never annoyed by Guybrush's looks cause I didnt know any better :). MI3 made me realise how awesome adventures could be and I considered it my favorite MI game :)

If you like the Monkey Island [TM] series you should also check out the Simon the Sorcerer games part 1 and 2 (DON'T touch the 3D version!!). It has the same feel and humor.. And both of them can be played with voice add-on.. Simon is one rude motherf@cker :D

Do I have to pay for these games? ^^ They look interesting...You can run the old-school ones (MI1/2, Simon 1/2, Indy 3/4 and lots of other great LucasArts stuff) on the open source ScummVM (http://www.scummvm.org/) platform :) It's just an "interpreter" so you do need the original game files that actually define the adventure itself, let's suffice to say you should be able to find them on "the large free webshop called internet". It's nigh on impossible to find a legal copy anyway I think :P Some great games (http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php#extras) have also been released as AbandonWare, so legally downloadable. "Beneath a Steel Sky" is also absolutely great :)
I completed MI1/2, Simon 1 and Indy 4 on my Windows Mobile phone :)
